When did Eminem start thinking he's Twista?

Dude is trying to rap too fast. Yes, it is technically impressive, but listenable? The first reason I got in to Eminem was he was easy to understand, had great lyrics, but annunciated and didn't send his tongue into overdrive. Now it's like he thinks his speed matters? i have no doubts he can do it, but it gets annoying to have to read his lyrics along side his verse the first few times.

He doesn't, Twista didn't invent fast flows.

Also, Em used to rap fast when he first started out. Check Soul Intent tracks.

He's just trying to distinguish his sound from his old sound. If he rapped the exact same way or in such similar flows to his old era, it wouldn't be as fresh.

He likes each new album period and beyond to have new styles.

We appreciate your opinion but he doesn't do it all the time. He does on few occasions and it always turns out good. Also, Eminem is known to be a fairly fast rapper.
