Eminem Is Saving Shady/Aftermath

Postby rep2death » Nov 18th, '10, 07:07

I read a comment on the "I Need A Doctor Leak" thread saying that Eminem is single handedly saving Shady Records....and is all i can say to Eminem is HANDLE THAT SH*T SON!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean Eminem came back to the top and is literally gonna grab shady records by the dick and pull it back up with him all by himself...no 50....no dre.....no nothing!!! Is Eminem hip hops savior?? lol

I Need A Doctor is the perfect, PERFECT, revival song!!!! When i hear that song i just feel like something HUGE is approaching...it feels like a true come back song for shady/aftermath!

How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?

He could make it huge. Somehow release a new album maybe soon, Detox, Bad Meets Evil, sign Slaughterhouse and release their album. 2011 could be the year of Shady Records.

This
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Shady records isnt saved yet..
they need to sign slaughterhouse and actually promote them. would be nice if Interscope records would actually promo the artists on SR instead of just benching them.

heres hoping though. :b:

Eminem is saving Shady/Aftermath as if you look how well Recovery, Relapse and (Refill) have all done in selling records. Not much has happened on Aftermath in last few years really. 50 Cent released the album Curtis which was not that good in 2007. His album last year Before I Self Destruct I have not listen to so I dont know if its any good? But I think both labels need more artists on them.

With Detox and Red coming out next year Aftermath should do well. Detox should do well I think but have people given up on the album? With Game album Red it had set backs this year and a lot of tracks have leaked.

But current artists on Aftermath are - Dr. Dre, Eminem, 50 Cent, Game, Hayes, Slim Da Mobster ad Cashis. I never heard of Hayes or Slim Da Mobster but Cashis sucks and needs to be dropped. The amount of artists who have been on Aftermath and not released an album on it quite a few. Likes of Joell Ortiz, Rakim, Raekwon, Bishop Lamont and others. Even Busta Rhymes only had one album on Aftermath. They need to sign more artists anyone agree?

It didn't sell well, and it was a pretty mediocre album. Better than Curtis though.
