Almost all rappers read their lyrics off a sheet of paper while recording. Most professionals anyway. You can't memorize every single verse you write, well, you could, but you don't need to. You can channel a great amount of energy with your voice while reading, you don't need to memorize the lyrics to do that. If you, yourself, have written said verse, you'll mostly remember, even if it's just vaguely, half of each bar. So, while you're reading you've enough time to focus on delivering it in a proper manner.
