This may be obvious to others or maybe known, I don't know... I've only just started to pay attention to this track though. I kind of had it in the background on the other listens. But just actually payed attention to everything and I think it's clearly about Amber Rose.
Some lyrical examples that indicate it...
- You should be grateful a n-gga like me even knows you / Now you noticeable and can't nobody can control you / 1am and can’t nobody get a hold of you / I’m calling your brothers phone like what was I supposed to do
Kanye saying Amber should be grateful someone as famous / big as him would even notice somebody like her (small-time ex-stripper). Now she's semi-famous because of him and she's out of control. There was also reports of him supposedly pestering her, her sister saying he was ringing non-stop. Or something to that effect, can't remember exactly.
- You always said Yeezy I aint you’re right girl / Probably find one of them “I like art” type girls
If you've heard her speak / ghetto-ho, you could imagine her saying something like this to him. Plus she seems like, one of them women that act like they don't even care you're with them when you are lmao. Just like blasé' and diva about everything.
- And I know that you are somehwere doing your thing / And when the phone called it just rang and rang / You aint pick up but your phone accidently called me back / And I heard the whole thing / I heard the whole thing, the whole thing, the whole thing…
Then that Chris Rock bit comes in. When I was originally hearing this I didn't realize what it was, I thought it was just a random monologue he had Chris do, I thought it was abstract or something lmao. I didn't realize it was actually a phone covo.
So... That last bit (pretty interesting idea too) - I wonder if that part actually happened. Do you think that conversation is a paraphrasing of an actual incident aka the actual incident which broke them up after Kanye hearing it?

Okay so, that's the thread. Like I said, to anybody who already knew what the song was about or worked it out, this will just seem obvious and redundant. To anybody who wasn't listening properly before / or only just worked out it was about Amber, it could be semi-interesting.
