Word to Class. I enjoyed Hopsin's album a little bit more this year, but I'm going with Copy.

Copy is a million times iller than Hopsin. Shit's not even a debatable question. Copy is light years ahead in punchlines and multi's, makes iller tracks too... Copy's punches are iller than Em's. Opinion wise I think he's even iller at multi's and complexity.
He destroyed Royce on this track so easily:

Fuck outta here with this shit!
Copy's punches iller than Em's? Oh, hell no! Perhaps than Em's 2010 Young Money punchlines a lá "You wear your heart on your sleeve, I sport that white tank, boy!" but 1996-2002 Eminem's punchlines shit on everything Copywrite has ever done, along with his multi's and complexity.
And on Scary Movies Eminem slaughtered Royce even worse, for that matter.
Technically, Copy might be slightly better than Hopsin, but Hop is just so much more entertaining and his album is definitely better than Copy's. Like it ain't even close.

Exactly, Eminem fell the FUCK off. His got better flows, but the shit he says isn't up to par with a lot of underground cats nowadays. Copy's been dope for YEARS. Em fell off before Encore... Yeah I agree Hopsin is more entertaining in terms of to the public. Copy's lyrically light years ahead of him though. Eminem WAS dope... Copy's consistency > Em.

You make me laugh so much. Copy's punchlines over anyones punchlines ever. You think 96-02 Em had better punches then Copy? It's like your practicin celabicy cause you're out of your fuckin mind (#Copy)
You think your personal attacks make up for what you lack?

Copy is better.

His new album is amazing - Copy went from High Exaulted to Life and Times which was a HUGE step up in a completely different direction. Hopsin, although I enjoyed his second album hasn't stepped out of his comfort zone yet.

Until Hopsin steps out of that comfort zone like Copy did with Life & Times, then I can fully judge.

Copy seems way more versatile. I appreciate he's been in the game WAYYYYYY longer and probably has more to rap about, but even when Hopsin does rap about different subjects he still sticks with similar styles and rhymes. Copy has stepped away from that to great effect.

EDIT:
Take the punchline's out of Copy's songs and he's still a great rapper, but there's not really much more to him.

Another "sheep" comment, I see. Why does every persist with this argument just cus someone else said it? He based a lot of his work on High Exhaulted around punches but still had amazing rhyming and writing. Plus listen to his new album and say that same comment. You won't be able to because he uses very few punches and his rhyming shines out.

Yes, I do. And it ain't all about punches. Eminem in his prime was on a whole different level. Musically as well as lyrically. Take the punchline's out of Copy's songs and he's still a great rapper, but there's not really much more to him. Yes, he is a good rhymer, but Eminem in his prime was WAY better. Smoother flows, perfect multisyllabic rhyming, he was wittier, funnier, had better content and all of that.
And you can't seriously tell me that Copy killed Royce worse on that song XRay posted than Eminem slaughtered him on Scary Movies.

I guess I'm forced to agree, on his new work he did tone down the punchlines. I still don't think that you can place him in the same category as Em. He is good at just spitting, but he rarely say anything meaningful. And even when just spitting, the old Eminem is much much better than Copywrite.
And I also prefer Hopsin, because he is more of an artist than Copy. Technically, he might not be able to fuck with him, but he just expresses himself much better. Also his content, his flows, he's just much more appealing to me.

^Eminem of 97-02 is better than Copy, I'm not arguing that. The way Eminem rhymed so effortlessly is unrivalled.

He is good at just spitting, but he rarely say anything meaningful

I guess you didnt listen to his new work like you say?

Forever and a Day, Confessional, Wish You Were Here, Mother May I, Smile, Tic Toc are meaningful as fuck.

I hate when people try and hate on copy when they've never even listened to him lol, they just group him under the underground rapper stereotype.

Copywrite > Old Eminem

I did, I was just gettin' raged up and exxagerated a little. He may have some deep content, but I still prefer f.e. Pillow Man over all these songs you listed. Even though he fucked it up with the autotune.
