Crook, Ortiz, and Royce are all INCREDIBLE on the other hand.

You must be having ear problems, not rhyming? Sorry, I don't have any words for that....

You can't be serious. He's definitely an amazing lyricist and great rhymer. True, he's not as lyrical as Crooked or Joell but he's a dope lyricist. He did rhyme on MM4 lol, listen to more of his tracks before making an ignorant accusation like that, no offense.

^ Joe Budden is very lyrical

On topic, I really don't know, they all have their strenghts, I listen to Joey more than the others though
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

Lyrical - Expressing deep personal emotion or observations.
Joe Budden is actually the MOST lyrical out of the 4.
And his rhyming is superb,I don't know what drugs are you on...

These niggas ain’t never seen dough
They can’t dream though I bump into ‘em in between shows
People say I'm emo, what that really mean though
Is though the song can’t breathe I actually make it seem so
I lost loved ones because they couldn’t deal with me
Cherish whoever still with me though the marriage's beeen killed in me
Normally it’s just me and my lonely mind
Everyone storm is different so this forecast is only mine
Fans recognize my misery, uplifted me
Shifted me to my epitome, guess the curse is a gift to me
Maybe its serendipity, maybe it’s weighing on me physically
Maybe I should man up and tell GOD not to solicit me
Been medicated, meditated
Sedated, hated
Character assassinated, all these years I masqueraded
Hard headed, if it was on my mind I had to say it
Tongue on the devil’s pitchfork to see how disaster tasted
Rap is fabricated, rappers are so exaggerated
Wouldn’t be scared of the truth if they weren’t castrated
Grab a mag, spray it, surrounded by people to shoot it before me
Better unconditionally love my beautiful ugly
Now lemme speak to who I cater to
Would you love me the same, before my weeks were not favorable
Promised to maintain being unique but relatable
All while suffering from a disease that could do away with you
Poetry on the beat, spoken-word for the masses
Therapy over pro-tools, every word is on acid
Consonants on Kush, every vowel is blunted
Highly wanted this whole organization privately funded
This is bigger than the Eiffel, this is alert to public
Had a cop us by our tunnels and our bridges with the rifle
Sentences meant to stifle, this is a man aching
This is the dam breaking, contraband in the making
This is panic unveiling, got potential but I never met it
He be trying to come over, it seem like God won’t let it
Either he never got my invite or he just dismissed it
But if all I’m hearing are the sounds of blackness, why am I pessimistic?
You’ll never progress if you’ll never try
All I ask, let every word I birth, never die
My wings spread, but when I’m at the sky
Weather didn’t change like I thought and had me petrified...

Okay, the song I picked doesn't have jaw-breaking multies, but the imagery makes up for it :worship:
...The mortician of love, sent from above
Forced entry, the more wenchy, the more stingy I become
Been doing this for more than a quarter century, I'm just numb...

Budden is the best artist, but Crooked might be the best rapper. They're all dope so it's hard to choose. :y:

Royce is the best in the group no doubt.

1. Royce
2. Joe Budden
3. Crooked I
4. Joell Ortiz

All of them are amazing rhymers and lyricist tho. And lol @ Budden not being lyrical. Budden is without a doubt the most lyrical out of the four but the best at rhyming is Crooked.

Out of curiousity, though, how old are you? Budden's work appeals to people of a certain age that been trough things in life. If you're still at an age where you haven't had much shit in your life, then it's understandable that you don't find his work intersting.
