I wonder.....was Em scared to go against royce? At one point Em was turning out diss tracks it seemed daily. But he never said anything to Royce. And the whole...."BU HEZ MAH FREIND" is kind of a lame excuse. They didn't talk for like seven years, so he must have not been too worried about the friendship.

That's not exactly subtle. He basically bitch slapped Em. And that was back in 03 when Eminem was the King of hip hop. I'm amazed he backed down. I believe Royce, I think he would have burnt Em up. That's why Em stuck to dissing people with no talent like Benzino and Everlast.

Em is my fav rapper, but I think royce would have won that battle.

No. Royce in '03 wasn't that good so Eminem would have destroyed him.

If it was 2010 Royce vs. 2003 Eminem (impossible i know) then it would be a different story but I think Eminem did it for another reason.

Despite Royce being the closet rapper to keep up with em on a track.Em always took it on every track IMO back then.Em is lot more clever technical rapper than royce and i think em would have won easily.

Hmm I dunno, I think "Malcom X" diss towards goes harder than any diss towards Em anyones made.

You might think the earlier Royce is just as good as today's Royce but nowhere near as aggressive.

Yeah, he didn't really go at EM. And wasn't what I was talking about really. I was just saying he can make a decent diss track. And all the people Em went at sucked. I mean.....he's never really went at anyone good. Benzino,Everlast,Cannabis,Limp Bizkit, Ja Rule....they all kind of suck. I have always wished he would have went at someone that could actually rap, like Royce. And Royce was his chance to really go to another battling level.

His diss tracks towards Benzino are classic..but...they are about fucking benzino. That's like a MLB team beating a double a team...

@Slim Cary Think you mean Canibus s.He went at them cause they went at him first(as far as i know he never started a beef out of the blue) and the ones you mentioned were in "style" at that time.Canibus was probably the only real MC he beefed with .As for Royce situation,i think most of the beef was between Royce,Bizzare and Proof(from that letter i read a while a go),Em kept a low profile about this one.Would have been kind of crazy to go ahead with it since it basicly started over a dumb reason and even if he didn't talked to Royce for years,he probably knew that going further with it would have been stupid.I think he made the right choise.Besides i'm glad that they didn't really beef.If they would have,we wouldn't be here today hoping for a Bad Meets Evil2
