Umm err my mom likes them stupid slim shady eminem songs... my dad likes a few songs from random people...by few I mean 3, Lose Yourself, Just Lose It, and Drop It Like Its Hot.

But apart from that my parents don't like hip hop. They don't like me listening to it cause of them "swears" my mom was like, "I remember a time where they didn't have words like that in songs" :laughing:

My parents think I will change my taste in music in a couple years and say I wasted all my money for nothing

my dad doesn't give a shit about what i do so he doesn't care and i'm not sure about my mom. i play rap music in the car and she doesn't say anything so i don't think she cares :unsure:

all she says is waht's so good about this music

i was playing fack in the car once and she didn't even say a word she just kept driving :giggle:

my cousins....i haven't seen my cousins that are my ages in years

i see one but she listens to indie music and she doesnt' care cause she used to listen to rap music but she got into all the rock shit :tounge2:

most annoying comment i get when i let them see my ipod 'i can't imagine you listening to this kind of stuff' :scratching:

i let them hear my rap song and EVERY SINGLE person that heard it said 'i can't imagine you doing that' :scratching:

it seriously drives me nuts....is it that hard to imagine a chinese girl listening to rap or rapping??? lol

Wen i was just starting to listen and my dad didnt know, he use to ocasionally tell me how uncreative rappers were.

But i got so into it, that now nobody even dares say shit lol, coz any debate on the topic becomes like a war.

I think i managed to gt my lil' sis[12] to like hiphop. Before i left, sheasked me to leave a biggie smalls CD :8)

my family say nothing about that.i am old enough to decide to what music i listen and even they are sometimes not agree with them, they accept it and they let me buy everything on the music that i want.so, no problems for me at all.and even my kids loves it, so no problems for me as a mother that they listen and see movies and videoclips about it.

my parents don't mind, but they're a bit racists - sometimes it pisses me off, but it's rather entertaining, cause they treat it more like kind of joke - they don't go around shouting "white power" like KKK. it's more like making me mad and angry

but anyway, i've got a big poster with rappers on my wall, so my mum is always like "omg, what if you wake up at night and see those black criminals?! i'd be afraid!" and when she talks about criminals she points at 50 cent lmao

so you see, it's like making jokes about me :shifty:

whenever im lisening to rap/hiphop...my mom looks at me like shes gonna kill me...and to get back at me she makes me turn it really low :unsure:

my sister hates rap exept for tupac...she loves bands like beach boyz, the all american rejects and all that oldie, metal, rock shit :confusion:
