Dude Pac is awesome and his albums/songs/death are all awesome and interesting, his emotion and flow were nice as hell, but if he was never shot and killed he would just be another rapper

I don't think he would have been looked at as just another rapper because even when he was still alive people considered him a legend. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about any of 2Pac's albums but I wish I could say the same thing about Eminem.....

No.

He was already a superstar around All Eyez On Me. People loved him and he had a whole generation of listeners at the palm of his hands.

He would not be another rapper by any means necessary if he was still alive.

Tupac is still a legend, his songs are still alive much alive that's what makes him he was at the point of his career trying to get us to wake up through his lyrics.

He was an amazing person, always thinking of helping others, CHANGING the world.

Man I love Tupac and his songs. So stop comparing him to Eminem.
They don't really relate, yet there the 2 real rappers ever to step on this earth.

I'm Stating my opinion not opening up for someone to attack me, (like yesterday when "someone" got so upset by my opinion, he wouldn't stop coming at me, get off my dick, and even stooped as low as searching my posts finding a picture of me and call me a fat faggot eminem-wannabe [for a reason which i am still confused, as he is a much bigger fan]). With that out of the way i would like to state my view.

I think Pac's flow was too monotone and never changed. I think he wasn't lyrical enough, and is over-hyped because of his death. I will admit he was great at expressing his emotions, and I do like a few of his tracks. I do not however think he can touch rappers like Eminem, Raekwon, Biggie Smalls, Nas, Black Thought, Mos Def, Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5'9", Xzibit, Jay-Z, Big Boi, and Andre 3000 etc. At the end of the day 90% of his songs sounded the same, and the gangster schtick got stale. But whatever, R.I.P Tupac Amaru Shakur.

Exactly, nothing any rapper has ever done can ever match what 2Pac has contributed to music and the world.

Sure some rappers can spit nicer than him but that's not all hip hop should be about. When it comes to spreading knowledge and truth in music, Tupac was the best.

Tupac also had a much broader appeal than any other rapper....Yes even Eminem.

Pac was loved by virtually every race/ethnicity.

Eminem is only limited to speak on his own struggles and yes there's a few instances of him speaking on political issues in his music but if he would expand on that and become more socially aware, people would accept him more.

SOME of those other rappers you mentioned may have more technical skills as a rapper than 2Pac but like I've said countless times before in this thread...It's not only about how good you can rap, it's about what you're capable of rapping about, what issues can you speak on, what struggles have you seen. How much you know about the world and your own personal surroundings.

And you have to explain what your definition of "lyrical" is.

Just because he didn't constantly make songs with multi-syllable Canibus style rhyming doesn't mean he was any less talented.

And as far as the "gangster schtick" goes....The same can be said about Eminem's personal problems.

You also have to keep in mind, a strong catalog of albums is also an important factor.

Nobody has ever had as many classic albums as Tupac and he's made all of these classic albums in a row. Every time he dropped an album it would be even better than his previous one. NO OTHER rapper has ever done that.

"I'm not trying to be the next Tupac."

"I think that honestly, Tupac was the greatest songwriter that ever lived. He made it seem so easy. The emotion was there, and feeling, and everything he was trying to describe. You saw a picture that he was trying to paint."

-Eminem

THERE. Eminem respects Tupac himself a lot. You can even search it up.

Tupac will never be replaced.

The end.
