If I said "Eminem's subject matter bores me to hell. Haillie, Kim, Mom. Not my stuff".

You can't hate on me for that, but you would think I have a really big misconception about Eminem's music because that's not all his music is about.

Same logic can be applied to Tupac, except it would be even more appropriate because Tupac touches on much broader issues than Eminem does.

Relapse and Recovery had like 3 songs combined about Hailie, Kim or his mom.

He's talking about all of Eminem's career.

I would choose Tupac because he was trying to change the world, his lyrics are amazing, god bless him.

If I had to choose to pick one rapper to do a speech that helped/made an impact on my life,

I would choose Eminem because his music really is the best for me.

I can relate to Eminem's music to an extent....But I honestly believe that he complains too much sometimes and really takes some things he is blessed with for granted, I just wish he would show more appreciation for what he has.

Okay, well that may or may NOT happen.

Just because someone is dead doesn't mean that everything you've ever touched suddenly turns to gold.

Look at some releases by Big Pun, Big L, Eazy-E and some other artists. None of their posthumous releases are respected enough to match the caliber of 2Pac's work.
