Honorable mentions: Sir Lusicous Leftfoot, Liar & A Thief & MM4.

5. Eminem - Recovery
11 years into his career and he produces a more than solid album. Nice variety of songs, including the best tribute song ever made - if it wasn't for the production and punchlines it would be higher

Favourite song - You're Never Over

4. The Roots - How I Got Over
Easy to listen to yet still incredibly though provoking album (hard combination) from one of the most consistent hip-hop acts. Black Thought spits fire as usual

Favourite song - Dear God 2.0

3. Hopsin - RAW
Although it wasn't the step from GATM that I would have liked, it was still impressive. Some hilarious touches, a variety of flows and some impressive rhyming

Favourite song - Pillow Man

2. Copywrite - Life & Times Of Peter Nelson
Another album with huge variety. Copy toned down on the punches which showed of his obviously impressive rhyming/writing. Some real incredible individual tracks and a step up from High Exhaulted

Favourite song - Tic Toc

1. Nas & Damian Marley - Distant Relatives
Probably my favourite album since The Eminem Show and the best Nas album since It Was Written. Thought provoking concepts, a perfect balance between rap and reggae, amazing production, a hungry amazing Nas, a deep Damian Marley = one of the most powerful albums for years. Stunning

Favourite song - Patience

1. Eminem - Recovery

Why: I can listen to practically any song on this album and not have to skip it. It's not as good as The Eminem Show, but, it's as good as it was going to be. I can tell Em put a lot of work into this album. Plus, it's fucking Eminem and he's my favorite rapper :y:
Favorite song: 25 To Life

2. Kanye West - My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Why: Although lyrically it's nothing special, Kanye crafted a sonically supurb album. Kanye encourages the haters, which I respect greatly. Kanye took the term "artist" to another level and it's certainly a classic by 2010 standards, which aren't very high...But, I can listen to almost every song, just exclude Devil In A New Dress
Favorite songs: Dark Fantasy, Monster, Blame Game

3. Kid Cudi - Man On The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager

Why: Kid Cudi usually always makes good music. He is different from the crowd, and he created a very atmospheric album. He may not be the best lyricist, but his smooth flow and his honesty are what set him apart from the crowd.
Favorite song: Scott Mescudi vs. The World

4. B.o.B - The Adventures of Bobby Ray

Why: I don't really listen to this album a lot, but when I do I usually enjoy it. It's very different and unique, plus he's a decent enough lyricist. And he plays his own instruments, which is enough of a reason to respect the guy
Favorite song: Don't Let Me Fall

5. T.I. - No Mercy

Why: I know it's not out yet, but I have a feeling I'm gonna like this album a lot. What I've heard so far, I've liked :y:
Favorite song: As of right now, That's All She Wrote

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake
