weird, I though you guys hate puchlines Eminem? if so why are you guys happy about him working with SH? cuz it's like guaranteer that he will use loads of punchlines & nonsense when doing songs with them.

I think Eminem wasting time doing songs that go nowhere with SH could potentially ruin his career movement. The fucked up part is that I'm not even slightly kidding.

i dont think anything will really kill eminems career at this point..
he'll always have a large following of loyal fans no matter what kind of music he releases.
signing slaughterhouse will be amazing for hip-hop imo.
i think it may even up Em's game because he'll be in the studio with 4 other great lyricists. which should hopefully keep him motivated and push him to release lryical meaningful tracks.
can't wait for the shady records sh release. I expect it will do just as good as D12 did if its promoted and backed by interscope.
can't wait.

wasnt there rumours awhile back that eminem was trying to drop Shady Records off of Interscope and make it an independent lable?

anyway on topic: it should be worth it... Slaughterhouse is dope :smoking:

If Relapse didnt kill his career, that means it must be bullet proof, cause if anybody had a disater like that they'd be out the door, lol

I don't know who posted that, but the only thing I can think of that would make it a disaster (and not even, just in terms of previous achievements and success by em) would be album sales, fan and critics responses to it, and that's all I can really think of to be honest. But again, still sold, big first week numbers, won best rap album grammy, spawned refill, was a comeback after a long hiatus, idk people talking nonsense these days lol

it's comments like that, which is making me start to get angry (and MAD...) when I come on a site (any site not just TR) that has to do with rap

Relapse >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Recovery

You say it so many times but yet YOU seem to forget it... Its an OPINION!! For fucks sake, how many times should we say MOST people did not like relapse?! Like seriously, only Eminem fans WANTING to like that album actually did. Most people i know, would toss it in the trash on first listen. The fact that people like you took the time to look past the fact he was on some Christopher Reeves, My Mom, Murder you at 3 am in the morning shit- which ANY other rapper wouldnt get away with is testament to the career he has built. Like Satan's Angel usually says- You WANT to like Eminem and as such will put more effort to.

Just me, but i heard "Baghpies From Baghdad" last year and stopped IMMEDIATELY listening to Eminem until i heard Forever. After that, went back and discovered the genius beneath.

Unlike Recovery, it HAD first week sales but they dropped drastically after that coz people werent feeling his shit. And yes, we are talking of Fans and Critics response to it- the MAJORITY (not just on TRshady) were NOT feeling Relapse. And arent you the same people who say the awards dont mean shit when Justiin Bieber wins best male and Distant Relatives is not nominated for the grammys?! It was a comeback, but how many times have you heard the word "Recovery" used to describe Eminem's comeback?!
