He shouldn't have given a fuck.

He should have said "'Cause I don't give a fuck if you don't like my shit, 'cause I was flushing the drugs out when I wrote this, so suck my dick".

It's good that he DOES give a fuck. I'd much rather him give a fuck about the music he puts out than just let himself go and release Fack 2. Plus, more and more people are taking him seriously these days, even people who didn't like him originally like him now

ok
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?

I honestly don't know what album I prefer out of Relapse or Recovery... Relapse, to me, feels like his older work - which I love. Now that Recovery is out, I find myself bumping Relapse a lot more than Recovery. Heh, I think I'm leaning towards Relapse more. :y:

Oh, and 3 A.M., Music Box, Buffalo Bill, Stay Wide Awake. :worship:

Honestly I dont really like Relapse.. tho I really like Beautiful. I don't hate one or maybe 2 horrorcore em songs but he's got too many on there and it gets repetitive. Plus I like Em's songs that talk about his life and real life experiences, not really killing people, like take Kim for example on MMLP. Alot of people like it. I've grown not to hate it and somewhat appreciate it but it's still pretty fucked up. If I had to rank his albums itd go like this

1) SSLP
2) MLP
3) TES
4) Recovery
5) Encore (I don't hate it actually)
6) Relapse
7) Infinite

You are all such a dickhead! When Relapse came out almost everybody bitching about album. And when Recovery came out, you were praise the Recovery.
Now is Recovery shit and Relapse much better?

To me is Recovery better but i like Relapse at first!

I tried to write song for you but nothing was good enough, so I'm dedicating them all to you-and you'd be happy to know that I spazzed out on 'em gain!I know you wouldn't have it any other way! Fuck 'em all--let's get 'em!
P.S. I'm sober now, I know you'd be proud. I love you Doody, I'll never forget you. Love, Doody "

Actually, Relapse was almost universally praised on this forum at first.

See: http://www.forum.trshady.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=61385

The overwhelming majority in this poll gave it a 4 or higher on a 1-5 scale

And only 7% gave it lower than 3...

Most albums would probably be the same though, since when they first come out everyone goes overboard with how much they like them. I'm not hating on Relapse, I think it's a good album, but there was a lot of hate for it around about the time Refill came out.

I remember that thread. The leak thread had even more praise in it. Most people were saying that it was right next to The Eminem Show or even better
I think all of these recent collabs have lowered peoples apprecieation of Recovery. This is the "Recovery era" so because of all these sub-par collabs people are bringing it all down instead of just these few songs.

I agree.

This thread gets made once a week here it seems

Recovery > Relapse

No explanation needed, if you dont see that I dont see the point in arguing about it. Defend it on its artistic Merits and whatever else you want but those voices killed the album for me

Em's screaming that everybody is crying about this year >>>>>>> The Russian voice he had on Relapse
