But what about his co-writers???

They're credited on writing almost all of his songs....

What exactly do these people do...?

On a serious note, people who write the music i.e notes on music sheets and so on are also credited as co-writers, even if they write none of the lyrics what so ever.

Because you're an idiot (or, at the very least, a troll).

Here's a little explanation: The "co-writers" add things to the instrumental. It has nothing to do with the lyrics. Eminem wouldn't let anyone touch his lyrics with a 10 foot pole...not that anyone would even know HOW to.

Eminem doesn't have "co-writers" in terms of his actual lyrics and verses (but then again you already knew this and I feel stupid replying to you, knowing you are just a troll) but fuck it.

In between deliberately trying to cause arguments, provoking other members, and spreading negative vibes about Eminem or his fans in your poor "innocent persona" creating the impression you are genuinely intrigued, when in reality you know exactly what it is you're doing, I noticed you (or your troll character at least) seems to have taken an interest in 2Pac.

Unfortunately it seems Mr. Shakur doesn't write his own songs, as there are other names besides his in the credits on the physical CD I hold infront of me (7 Day Theory)

In hip-hop, writers are always credited under one category often with musical writers - People who compose melodies or even producers, being credited as 'writers' along with the lyricist(s).

Eminem writes all his lyrics. I'm sure he sometimes consults with whoever he's working with musically to maybe sometimes fit the odd word or find the right way of saying something but, it's probably just very light consultation now and then.

People don't actually co-write his lyrics with him. And often, he actually co-writes the music or co-produces without getting credited. He's on top of everything.
