The Source Gives Kanye West 5 Mics

Eminem has 3 classics, 2 VERY GOOD albums, and one sub-par album. I think it's convenient how you didnt include 808's into Kanye's total so as to make his track record look better.

On topic: Ye deserves this. He made one-helluva good album.

Nobody said he is and i'm not gonna say Kanye's album is bad, to me it's his 3rd best but it doesn't beat out any of Em's 3 albums which makes the Source's reviews pointless. After Bun B getting 5 mics for a good but not great album how are people supposed to take them seriously?

Kanye made a good album, and I'm a fan of Kanye myself. But I love how everytime someone criticizes this cd, you have something to say about it. Enjoyable music is not enough of a reason to give an album 5 mics. I wouldn't just settle for "enjoyable" if I was to rate an album so high, it would have to be something on the next level, which this album isn't. This album deserves 4, not 5. It is not, by any means, perfect

I only like So Appalled (mostly becaue of Jay-Z verse), Power and maybe All of the Lights. The rest of the album is forgettable, sadly. Lyrically he has very little to offer and production wise.... most of it aint my cup of tea.

I listened to The College Dropout and Late Registration the other day and realized how much his general rap skills have suffered since the release of them.
