I would love it if it outsold Encore & SSLP but that will be about 1 million too much. I think it will finnish at 4.0m by this time next year. Amazing in this music market.

^ agreed, I don't think he can reach 5 millions unless he got a re-release (which has a surefire hit in it, not refill kind of release)

I think he should put out another single from Recovery early next year, No Love flopped in a sense and if the 4th single became successful not only it helps the sale it would also add more positive points to his grammy chances next year.

I really hope he could perform SB at grammy with Elton though, like you said, it's 10 years from Stan, and it would be the first time he performs SB :o OMG SB would shoot straight to #1 after that

How much has Recovery sold worldwide?

Someone said Eminem has sold over 8 million albums worldwide since May 15th 2009
(release date of Relapse)

That's trure, Recovery is around 5.2 million or 5.3 according to United World Chart and around 5.7 million according to Music Chart.

And I know that Relapse sold around 3 Million WW

Relapse should be over 3.5 millions by now

Oh right, cool.

And I know it's not that significant, but worldwide he has probably sold thousands and thousands of his "old" studio albums, since then too. I remember MMLP, TES and Curtain Call getting a huge boost on iTunes around Recovery time, and of course not forgetting the physical album sales, and other digital ones not just on iTunes.

He probably isn't too far off 90 million albums sold worldwide now (if he hasn't surpassed it already)

With over 5.5 million worldwide copies sold, Em's "Recovery" set a milestone in the 2010 year.

Interscope Records announced this morning that Eminem's latest album, Recovery, was the single best-selling album on iTunes this year. The presently triple-platinum album was a critical revival to the Detroit, Michigan superstar, who worked with Lil Wayne, Rihanna and P!nk on the Aftermath Entertainment release.

While Recovery has scanned over 3,000,000 copies in the United States, Interscope also revealed that the June album has seen 5,600,000 worldwide units sold.

Additionally, Eminem leads with 10 Grammy Award nominations for music from Recovery.
