Today I opened up my school paper (I attend a large public university) and the editor, a hip-hop guy, ranked Recovery as the 15th best album of 2010 with 5 rap albums ahead of it.... including Thank Me Later. I don't mind classics like "Distant Relatives", "How I got Over" , etc. besting it but TML? Christ. And to top it off in the same issue he reviewed "Pink Friday" and said "Minaj rapped circles around Eminem"......

THAT'S fucking hilarious. Nicki could NEVER out-rap Eminem lol. People still love to ride Young Money's dick, despite Eminem showing the world he can beat their leader (Wayne) easily

I'm a big Kanye fan but the over-reaction to this album is totally absurd. It's a good album, nothing more. And certainly no masterpiece.

Yep just what i was thinking.I see everyone's praising Kanye's album so much,personally i listened to it once,no replay value for me .Can't wait for the Grammy's so the people that make these lists can suck it.Hope Em will get another album next year and compete with Kanye's for the next grammy's
