Is this true?
I mean if so, that's ridiculous. I'm sick of Dre getting credit as a mastermind producer and yet, this fucking legendary album which has taken so long is seemingly produced by a plethora of other people?
That's scandalous man. So "Kush" is called a Dr. Dre song, despite the fact that somebody else wrote and is singing the hook, somebody else wrote his lyrics and somebody else has a verse. AND somebody else produced the actual music... in what way is that DRE'S song?
Other than the fact he hopped on it and stamped his name on it. Now, we all know he isn't a lyricist, fine, I can accept that - But then, at least produce all the fucking music. If that's all you have to do, DO ALL OF IT. It's like Eminem having other people write half his lyrics.
What Dre does is the equivalent to Van Gough having twenty other painters paint a massive portrait of flowers, then coming in at the end - painting the final petal and going "that's my work". Dre shouldn't be allowed to call Detox his work if other people are contributing to such a high degree. Should be called a fucking collaborative album.
The way this is going down also coincides with what 2Pac said about Dre years ago when he was still alive. He basically said (in a rant) that other people would make songs then Dre would come in and add a touch and do basically nothing, and get full production credit. I'm not being funny, I know Dre is a great producer but his legacy / level of involvement isn't far off fucking fraudulent.

What is he doing???
