But in common language, it's always said to be the longest. There are still a few actual words outside of science terminology that are longer though.

There's no reason a new word can't be as valid as any other logically. Other than the fact it's... 'new' and therefore people think it's less "valid". But words are trivial anyway. What's more important is structure and intent.

Agreed. Take Shakespeare for example, the guy came up with an insane amount of words and phrases, most of which are still used commonly to this day!
