Kanye's New Album

I haven't listened to it, tho I have seen the praise by magazines and writers.

So I'm curious, since I've seen a lot of people say on here the album sucks, or is nothing near the "hype" the album has gotten for it's positive reviews...why are these people saying it's good?

The reason I ask is, he has always been decent in my eyes, nothing special, late registration I didn't even get all the way through I hated it, but graduation I enjoyed. Didn't go into rotation but for a week I bumped it.

regarding the praise it's gotten from pro reviews...i think its a like a snowball effect
no one wants to be the first one to write anything bad about it
still a really good album though and its been in constant rotation for me since it leaked

Definitely follows a theme, good beats, good verses but not necessarily great lyrics.

Yeah, it definitely helps. I don't really see anyone saying it isn't a good album, just that the hype didn't live up to what they thought and it hurt their opinion.

Lyrically it's decent but overall it's just wonderful music. Blame Game is such a beautiful song. Wish I could learn it on piano.
