I just finished listening to J.Cole's new mixtape " Friday night lights" and to me it felt alot like Joe Budden's mood muzik 4

To me they both have similar styles, and song content. They also both talk about not having " a pot to piss in" And even http://www.last.fm has them ranked as have "super similarity".

So i was wondering, which people on here thought had dropped the better mixtape this year.

I personally like J Cole better but I'm not sure who the better artist is. I don't listen to enough Joe Budden.

I haven't listened to that much Cole or that mixtape, but Budden is one of my favorite rappers and MM4 is easily in my top 5 albums/mixtape this year. So for me, it'd easily be Budden.

I've never listened to j cole. If he has the same style as budden, he but it from budden. Buddens style was originated by him.

Mm4 is undoubtedly top 5 this year.

Their styles are actually really far from each other. This comparison is really out there. It's like Crooked I vs. Wale. Like, wat.

I guess you can call them "similar" because they're both black males that rap more about their life and thoughts than their money and swag. :unsure:
