And Rick Ross.

It's quite clear that list was made by Nas by what he was just feeling at that particular time, just what was on his mind right there. The reference to that 'I'm single' (never heard that song myself) should make that clear.

As for Nas and what he thinks of Eminem, it's nothing but positive. Nothing but the biggest amount of respect.

Just last year before Eminem's return, Nas said the following -
"I think that's one of the most exciting things hip hop can look forward to. He contributes so much lyrically and musically, he's amazing,"

Two years a go in an interview with Complex, he was asked who still excites him in terms of Hip Hop and he responded only with "Kanye, OutKast, Eminem".

Around the time Eminem was killing it, I remember Nas said Eminem was in his top 5 favourite Mc's of all time too.

Also in the thank you's for the N1gger album (Nas' most recent solo album) he mentions Eminem in the thank yous alongside the likes of Bob Marley, Frank Sinatra and Michael Jackson - WTF does that tell you?

But how come he mentions "Empire State of Mind" when almost any hip-hop fan can tell you that is not Jay's best effort?! At least he left himself out...

Well that's not humble that's just, normal lmao.

Who the hell puts themselves on a top 10 list.

When rappers get asked their top 10, it's assumed 'excluding them' as that's why they're asking them lmao. It's their top 10, not the top 10 including them.

Which is why Em mentioned himself in Till I collapse amirite?

Lol, so many butthurt Em fans in this thread. And lol at the whole if Em was black bullshit, you really don't want to play appeal to motive fallacies here.

Nobody asked him who his top ten was. He was giving his honest opinion on his top 10. 99% of other rappers always say they are the best rapper alive. He didnt even put himself in the top 10.

Notice how he gives Em his props too, so all this bullshit about Em not being respected is laughable. Though there are some wtfs on that list. and he has beef with Crooked L, so really it's no surprise and he has beef with Joe Budden, Keith Murry, Saigon, and had beef with Jayz and even Nas.

I noticed that. People are delusional about Em not getting his props. He gets on A LOT of rappers top 10 list or as a special mention. He may not make everybody's list but he gets put up there a lot. Prodigy's list was interesting to say the least: G-Unit, Jeezy, Wayne, kanye, beanie sigel, TI were weird choice imo.

I just realized he didn't have Jay z on that list, Takeover must have hurt him. :(

Never mind I just saw it

^I guess so. But he had Pac who also dissed him (right? lol) so maybe he just doesn't like Jay-Z. But Jay is easily better than like 5 people on his list (G-Unit anyone  ).

Nah I just reread the list and Jay's 14 (I need glasses), interesting that he put Nas in front of him and Havoc though. He seriously needs to listen to some underground though I mean where's Aceyalone, Ras Kass, Ditc, Boot Camp Clik, and Del tha Funky homosapien?
