"Eminem admits he fears that one day he'll have difficulty writing new lyrics again.
For four years the Love The Way Your Lie rapper struggled to think of new ideas as he battled with his drug addiction and he sometimes worries it could happen again.
"I try to stay recording, because if I don't, I get rusty," says Em as he talked with Rolling Stone. "I'm very paranoid about writer's block - I had it for four years.

Ever heard All She Wrote or I Need A Doctor? Okay, INAD is sooome kind of love song in some way, but the lyrics? I love them. And one track that's really underrated is Roman's Revenge. At first I didn't like it at all, but now I love it.

His ability to write lyrics is not weakening. Far from it.

For example, in LTWYL part 2, his verse technically speaking was pretty impressive.

Encore was when Em really feel of lyrically, he had a few good lyrical songs during that period. For example, How Come. Others include his verse on Spend Some Time and We As Americans. Although, these were probably lyrics from the TES era which he added onto.

But no, he is not falling off in the slightest. I don't think any of his recent collaborations or solo performances are weak in the lyrical sense.

There's a different between rapping about love and dissing women

It's more of the latter, there haven't really been but a few love songs he's put out, which isn't bad. It's a new concept for him, so it's apparent (with his addictive personality) that he's becoming briefly obsessed with women being the main force of his lyrics

By the time his next album drops, he'll be rapping about brand new things, probably

The only thing eminem has fallen off from his lyrics/writing ability is mulits, double and tripple sylable rhyming. As overrated as multis can be at times there still very important to hip hop and eminem now compared to old eminem his first 3 albums along with infinite the big time rhyming isnt there, i think his writing ability is better but if he can put more multis in verses it would be that much better. But when your storytelling its a very difficult thing to do.
