Right, for the last time.

- I am not saying he SHOULD of put 13 tracks.
- I am not saying Recovery would be better with 13 tracks.

As the post explains, if you ONLY had 13 tracks. If that was a limit, for the sake of this idea, what 13 would you choose. That's it, there's nothing else meant by it.

It's just a question. If you don't have or don't want to answer, just don't. Stop acting like I'm saying Recovery should be this way, read the post.

I haven't met ANYONE who doesn't like Cinderella Man...the biggest complaint I've got about it is the beginning from a lot of people, with the "Amen!" shit. Not even I like that shit that much. But the song as a whole is dope as fuck :y:

1. Cold Wind Blows (I can't see anyone leaving that out, it's just the perfect way to start the album)
2. On Fire
3. W.T.P.
4. Going Through Changes
5. Not Afraid
6. No Love
7. Seduction
8. Space Bound
9. So Bad
10. Cinderella Man
11. Almost Famous
12. Love The Way You Lie
13. 25 To Life

Reasons why I left out:

- Talkin' 2 Myself: I know a lot of people love that song and have it amongst their top 5 Recovery tracks. I heard the hook when it leaked before the album and i was amazed. I thought it would be a really good song. But when the album came and I listened to it for the first time that changed. It just makes me so angry that Eminem actually thinks Wayne would have "handed his ass to him" in a beef. Even when Eminem was a fucked up junkie making wack ass tracks such as T.I.'s Touchdown. Wayne destroying Eminem in a beef? Never.
Also, I really don't think Kobe fits on a song with Eminem, the artists are just much too different. The hook alone is great, if you look at the verses only, they're decent too. But for me, they just don't go well toghether. And I can't stand that beat at all

- Won't Back Down: Hell, when I saw the tracklist, I could have sworn the Pink feature was going to be better than the Rihanna one. How wrong I was. The beat is horrible, it grew on me a little, but it still isn't anywhere close to being enjoyable. Pink's hook sounds extremely generic and trite.
The way Eminem says "what I do, I do it will", just so that it rhymes with "kill" is extremely stupid. I know he likes to bend words, but it just didn't work here and I cringe everytime I hear that part.
He OD'd on the punchlines on this song and a great deal of them were wack too.

- You're Never Over: Yes, I know, it's his Proof dedication and actually it has to be there, but I think he really ruined that song. First off, the beat is MUCH too poppy and it is a musical disaster too. You couldn't even hum the melody if you wanted to.
Eminem said himself he can't sing, and I'll let him sing if he does it like on nearly all of the other Recovery tracks. But he totally messed up the hook on this one and it hurts my ears to listen to it. If it had a better hook, I might even drop another track for this one.
The first verse is a bit of a mess and pretty much redundant.
The second verse is epic, easily one of the best verses on the album, but he ruins it with that ketchup/catch up punchline. Overall, it just didn't make my "final cut".

1. Cold Wind Blows
2. Talkin 2 Myself
3. On Fire
4. Going Through Changes
5. Not Afraid
6. Seduction
7. No Love
8. Space Bound
9. Cinderella Man
10. 25 To Life
11. Almost Famous
12. Love The Way You Lie
13. You're Never Over

I'm bored, so I'm going to do Relapse, too.

1. My Darling
2. 3am
3. My Mom
4. Bagpipes from Baghdad
5. Insane
6. Hello
7. Same Song & Dance
8. Medicine Ball
9. Stay Wide Awake
10. Must Be The Ganja
11. Deja Vu
12. Beautiful
13. Careful What You Wish For

Both of the albums would be much more enjoyable like this. I'd probably actually consider them to be great albums if these were the cases in their situations.

It was really hard for me to narrow it down to 13 tracks since I think Recovery is Eminem's best album to date. This is what I came up with:

1. Cold Wind Blows
2. Almost Famous
3. Talkin 2 Myself
4. Going Through Changes
5. Not Afraid
6. Seduction
7. So Bad
8. No Love
9. Space Bound
10. Love The Way You Lie
11. Cinderella Man
12. 25 To Life
13. You're Never Over

Mine would probably be the same way it is but

1. COLD WIND BLOWS
2. TALKIN’ 2 MYSELF FEAT. KOBE
3. ON FIRE
4. GOING THROUGH CHANGES
5. SEDUCTION
6. NO LOVE FEAT. LIL WAYNE
7. SPACE BOUND
8. 25 TO LIFE
9. ALMOST FAMOUS
10. SO BAD
11. LOVE THE WAY YOU LIE FEAT. RIHANNA
12. YOU’RE NEVER OVER
13. UNTITLED

This is how mine would go, it might sound weird but I don't think if I put it my way it wouldn't sound as good. so i'd try too listen too the song in my head and think if it would go along of what I think the song i like is gonna fit in order (if that made sense). It might look like I just took out 3 tracks but this is how it would go down.

EminemBase wrote:Where as... "My 1st Single" and some songs on Encore - whilst he still shows skill in some parts (when doesn't he) - I would consider them filler as he's visibly bored. He tries to sort of cover his boredom with an ironic wink to camera as if it justifies it lmao but, they're still filler.

My 1st Single was a classy, not filler
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
