Entertainment Weekly named it worst album of 2010. Really???

I, just like everyone, cringe when I hear Prom Queen. I have given the album a couple listens, nothing classic or incredible, but I enjoyed a good amount of it.
Some songs were pretty good, such as:
American Star (I really liked this one, damn good sound and lyrics)
Ground Zero
Drop the World (great)
One Way Trip
Knockout

I think what I like was his lines were more focused than his other stuff.

Granted I've only heard 3 songs from the album (The first single, the Eminem one and Knockout), so I can't judge the album as a whole (even though I'd bet my life it's exactly what I think it is.).

However, in my opinion, from someone who grew in Queens Village in Queens where Hip Hop was shoved down our throat and been apart of our life from the start - that Knockout song is easily THE worst hip hop song I have ever heard in my life.

Haha I mean, it's not really a hip hop song. It's pop, kinda Blink 182ish. I just relistened to it though, worse than I remembered...not worst of all time though...

No. It is a bad album. There's truely no doubt about that. The problem is people are judging this based off of other people's opinions, reviews, and the singles, and then bitch when Kanye's album gets praised using the same reasoning. Shut the hell up, stop the bandwagon and listen to the music that you enjoy.

I'm very open minded. I just thought it was pretty bad. It's experimental though, and not nearly as terrible as people make it out to be. I liked a couple songs off of it but the fact that he's using computer generated instruments and an overdose of auto-tune is just bleh. It just sounds generic and at times annoying.

unfortunatley im a stan,and i bought the album cuz of Em's feature,the whole album sucks except paradice and On Fire.

well, it's not ment as a rap album, so if u guys look at it as a non-rap album just like 808's you'll see how good it is
