I really hated both of them despite the fact they both had amazing production. Going with Carter 3 though.

BP3 for me. I loved the production so much, I kinda didn't care for Jay-z poor lyrics.

BP3 had better production. i say BP3 not only for that but after so many albums jay-z proves that hes still "in the game". cant wait for his next album and Watch the Throne w/ Kanye.

Tha Carter 3.

BP3 was a lazy album with only 3 good songs, maybe 4. Of those I've heard, this is Jay-Z' worst album (tied with Kingdom come).

C3 had a whole bunch of good songs; Tie my hands, Dr. Carter, Mr. Carter, Shot me down, Dontgetit and a couple more.

This is tough, considering both sucked

Carter III probably...it has a SMALL handful of songs that I like

Tha Carter III
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Well I'm not a fan of Jay-Z & Lil Wayne but Jay-Z is for some people the GOAT and he is 15 years in the game with a lot of success and with classic albums like Reasonable Doubt .
I can understand that you like Wayne more than Jigga man but objectively Jay-Z>>Lil Wayne as MC.

For me it was...

Tha Carter III (w/Pussy Monster AND Playing with Fire):
Great rap songs: Mr. Carter, Phone Home, Tie My Hands, Shoot Me Down, Playing with Fire, Don'tGetIt, A Milli
Great radio songs*: Got Money, Mrs. Officer, Lollipop
Good songs: 3 Peat, Dr. Carter, La La, Let the Beat Build, You Ain't Got Nothing
Forgetable/trash songs: Comfortable, Pussy Monster

Blueprint III (Deluxe):
Great rap songs: D.O.A., On to the Next One, Off That, A Star is Born, Venus vs. Mars, Already Home, Hate, Reminder, So Ambitious, Jockin
Great radio songs*: Run This Town, Empire State of Mind, Young Forever,
Good songs: What We Talking About, Thank You,
Forgetable/trash songs: Real as it Gets, the 2nd D.O.A. song (don't know why he put it on, he just substituted in an awful beat)

*For great radio songs, I judged them on their radio appeal. I personally can't stang Young Forever or Mrs. Officer, but I definitely see their appeal.

Verdict: Blueprint III by just a little bit. Both had great production, I just like Jay better. Jay had WAY better features, with Cudi, Drake, J Cole, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys. Wayne had better "deep" songs in Tie My Hands, Shoot Me Down, and Don't Get It. Both are great albums.

IDK, I just wasn't feeling it. It just seemed weaker than the rest of the album. And the 2nd DOA is track 17 on the deluxe album. It has IDENTICAL lyris, just a garbage beat with those obnoxious radio siren noises. I have no clue why he put it on, it adds nothing. Jockin Jay Z was the other deluxe version track. If you want to hear it, here it is: http://www.rhapsody.com/jay-z/the-bluep ... --explicit
