Download Requests-Need YOUR Opinions

Ok, so we kind of have a dilemma in the dl request section. When a topic is replied to with the correct download link, we have the title then get changed and add the word "Finished" so that everyone knows.

The problem is, we don't want topics to be re-made when the link has already been provided, but we can't move the topic anywhere, and using the method of adding "Finished" works, but it then clutters the first page because of new download requests.

So what are the options?

Well one idea was to made another sub-section titled "Downloads Finished"...so we want your opinion, do you like the idea of a new section so that new dl requests aren't lost or neglected due to the clutter with finished topics...or do you have any other ideas that might work???

its an idea,

where the topic after it has the (finished) in the title is deleted after a week. it would clear up all the clutter.

and if something that's already been requested would have to be given a fresh link (which is a benefit too)

my thoughts. an extra sub section seems a bit much

and do a sticky in both dl section and dl requests section to search in the "finished requests" section fore making a thread.

This sounds good.
Thing is most of the links in the finished downloads threads aren't working anymore.

hummmm...here's my idea. when a request is made for something for member A member B makes a seperate post in the dl section with info and links. then member B pm's member A with the link to the newly made thread. member B also posts a reply to the request to let everyone know it is finished. after a week of member B's post, the whole request thread is deleted. also a sticky post made for members to use the "search" function. that is my suggestion....

Why not add new dl req section for
entertainment(for movies req),
hip hop domain(apart from eminem e.g hopsin ,lowkey ),
general music(lady gaga ,kesha etc)
and the default one in the dl central as the default eminem dl req ,
i know that would be too much but that would ease the search process if you ask me and would even remove redundant threads from being made.
