For anyone who's interested:

M Solo's review for "Difficult"
"A solo Eminem classic about Proof that's depressing as fuck"...

Wow. My first thoughts were "fuck, if you guys don't want "depressing songs give them to me"... well this song IS depressing, and not in a good way. This song wasn't supposed to come out. You can tell he did this for him. It's nothing like You're Never Over. He raps in a fairly normal voice throughout the first verse but the second and third verse he raps in the Stan voice "I'm on a thousand downers now I'm drowning" voice and it's just sad as fuck. God knows how many pills he had in his system when he recorded this. As my girlfriend said, "he sounds drunk".... It's just flat out depressing and I think the casual listener(Brubbels) would rip this song to shreds. He does talk about stories(as though he's reminiscing with Proof) but they're not nearly as cringe worthy or embarrassing as the stories he tells in "Beautiful"....

That said, I'm grateful to have this in my Eminem collection and Koolo man do I fucking owe you for this. Having lost my own best friend 5 years ago I was able to relate to a lot of the song(wanting to punch people at the funeral that had no business being there) and I can see where he's coming from talking about old stories. I really don't know how to review this because I don't feel you can critique him because Lord knows the condition he was in when he recorded it. High as fuck, maybe weeks after his death? I feel sorry for him. You can hear how defeated he was in this song(where as in Beautiful I thought he sounded whiney and pathetic. It's just fucking sad and I don't think all of the nit picking fucks out there deserve to hear this because I don't think they'd understand it.

In closing I really liked the story about him and Proof paint balling "the bums and hookers" lol and the closing lines....

"I let the pistol bang once just to lick a shot in the air for you and pour some liquor out with Obie in the parking lot of 54 just before we were supposed to get in cars and come and see you, as difficult as it sounds..."

He painted a perfect picture of himself high as fuck, at his studio, shooting a gun off in the air and pouring liquor out right before Proof's funeral and it was nothing less than haunting.
"I used to give a fuck, now I could give a fuck less
What do I think of success? It sucks, too much stress!"--Eminem
