You guys honestly should just calm down about these songs. I know it's easy for me to say since I've actually heard them. But the level of hype and hysteria is ridiculous, these songs were never heard for a reason: because we weren't meant to hear them.
Cocaine is a solid song, could've been even better had he polished it up for an actual release, but it isn't anything that will blow your mind. I enjoy it, it's a cool throwaway track, but it doesn't rank with the best stuff he put on Recovery.
But more importantly..
Difficult...well Difficult can't even really be described in terms of 'good' or 'bad'. It's simply emotional, Em was clearly going through a rough time when he recorded it. But frankly I hope it NEVER leaks. As an artist Em has been extremely revealing and honest about his personal life to us, even willing to talk about this particular subject in many places on Recovery. But I'm pretty sure he wouldn't want us to hear THIS particular song about Proof, and as fans hopefully people respect that. That's not him withholding things with us, it's just the simple fact that he wasn't ready to share his thoughts on Proof's passing at the time of this song and it probably was little more than a therapeutic experience for him. Had I known the true nature of the song I wouldn't have minded never hearing it. Whether he leaks it or not is obviously koolo's decision, I know I certainly will not be sharing it with anyone else because it feels like a borderline invasion of privacy in MY personal opinion. I know it sounds selfish but it's only because I'm on the other side of things and can put it into perspective, you guys are all viewing it as 'a brand new incredible deep emotional Eminem song' to add to your iPods but that really isn't what it is at all. You're seeing as a 'song to bump in your car' while Eminem probably sees it as if Wikileaks got a hold of his personal diary.
So everyone ought to just calm the fuck down about these songs for now, chances are you might hear some of it eventually anyway (hopefully not Difficult), and if not I'm sure Em will have plenty more (and better) material for us come 2011.
Exactly my thoughts....except I'm not as high on Difficult and as low on Cocaine as you are....I think Cocaine could very well have been on Recovery, sure it's no Space Bound of GTC, but it would've fit in nicely with those second tier songs like Seduction/No Love etc.
And I agree completely that Difficult should not be leaked, you guys are unnecessarily over-hyped for this song, it's not the second coming of When I'm Gone, bur more like a Be Careful What You Wish For Part II...yeah it's sad, the song itself isn't strong enough to evoke much of an emotion, but you just feel pity for him and where he was at that point in time. Koolo is definitely over-hyping it lol.

I don't even care to hear the song that much to be honest. I'll listen to it when it comes out, but it sounds like the kinda song I'd listen to, I'd like it, then I wouldn't play it too often after that. It sounds like it's overwhelming to hear, from your desciptions
