IMO no fan of either should ever do that.

I mean Wayne and Jay want to make money through music, they admit that, it's not like they're selling out. They spent their whole time on the streets dreaming of money and doing anything they could to get it, now they can, if the musics good there doesn't have to always be content. The origins of rap didn't always have content, it was a type of music to deter from the negative thing in life and appreciate what you had, but that's just my opinion.

Even though the majority of people on this site hate on Lil Wayne you have to admit that some of his older stuff like Carter 2 is a work of art. 3 songs (opening, midpoint, ending), same instrumental, and in my opinion the best 3 on the album. There's no way anyone could listen to Carter 2 and say that Lil Wayne is talentless.

And I like Weezy.

Don't bother, some people have set opinions, instant dislikes and misunderstood conceptions of some things. I do it with other artists. I agree with the guy a few posts above saying that they'll always be a split it Em fans regarding Wayne. Let's just leave it at that and hope for them both to rip it up for hip hop.
