I don't want him to go back to his "old self", if I wanna hear his "old self", I'll put on his old albums. He needs to keep moving forward, and eventually we'll get something fresh

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

EmGoGetEm wrote:He's not going to go back to his old self because people can't do that, but it will be interesting to see what happens. Him doing this movie will probably the be the first time he takes a break from his music for a little while. He might write some while doing the movie but he'll be pretty consumed with the movie if he's a major role in it and that means he won't be able to focus 100% on his music. It will be very interesting to see what kind of outlook he has on his music after the movie is all wrapped up. Maybe doing the movie will bring him back to his roots in terms of subject matter and inspire a new direction.

You people bitch about every little thing Em does. He's rhyming as good as ever. 5 years from now, you'll realize that you should have enjoyed the Recovery Em, but you took him for granted and bitched
