this album would probably be considered worse or as bad as Encore
his voice just was not at a good stage, and neither were his thoughts
ahead of my time, in my prime, one of a kind, out of my mind

deal in 08, whata we lookin for?

Obie - Well, Marshall, Chi?, Trying to put out his album, you

know, his album's done, his album is Incredible,

Tracks i think were 90% certainties for King Mathers are
CWYFW, Beautiful, My darling.

The album would have been poor lyrically but it would have been a dark fucked up album. This was his drug phase at its highest, It would have had some dark beats etc. No fucking around (Fack,My first single, big weenie etc type of shit). Just a dark depressed album, basing of those three tracks i may have enjoyed the album in terms of content. Of course we will never hear it now.

Your post made me depressed espeically the part where we will never hear those other King Mathers tracks. King Mathers is most likely 100 times better than Relapse and Recovery in terms of content.

Excellent point; I agree.

Anybody really know WHY he didn't release King Mathers? I'm assuming because he didn't think it was good enough, but my question to him is if he does think this, then why keep making the same type of records for that album then? I'd love to hear it. And idk if it would be worst then Encore. Remember Encore had those 4/5 terrible club songs, ass like that, big weenie, etc. and if king mathers was released it would of had mostly dark material with a few light songs, but good, deep songs would of been on it like CWYWF, Beautiful, Syllables, etc.

Everyone's opinion of 'Better Content' differs. Some people liked the direction Em went on Recovery, while other people thought it was boring. Some people thought Relapse (and occasionally, SSLP) was childish in content compared to that of Eminem Show & MMLP, while some people actually enjoyed it because of it's content. Some people don't like Eminem Show because they call it emo.

Just judging off No Apologies (Which fit the content of the other tracks, alot), Beautiful & Difficult, King Mathers would have been really boring to me. Emotion is fine, but the self-pity, whoa-is-me type song only works for me every so often, which is why I thought putting those two songs at the end of Relapse as the bonus tracks was really good because they felt like a breath of fresh air in an album full of demented serial killing while still fitting the overall tone.

If the leaked songs were an indication, King Mathers would have been one abysmal comeback for the king.

What??? My Darling meant for Relapse??? You're dumb or what??? It's deff from 2007/2008. Look at his lyrics, his voice, his flow. Everythink shows it's for King Mathers!!!

Why the offense, huh? :facepalm His flow, voice, lyrics, concept fit perfectly with Relapse (Underground being the clearest example)

Check the lyrics:

"Yo, Slim?
How? Why now?
What up Dre?
Check this out, Slim, I gotta talk to you
I dunno
It just seems like ever since you got off your drugs"

You were just proved wrong.

No!!!!! If you listen the whole Relapse (underground too) you'll see that My Darling has a whole different flow and voice from the other Relapse songs!!! Deja Vu is a perfect primer, it's a serious song but sounds really different from Beautiful for example, just becouse it's from other period than Beautiful. The same thing goes with My Darling. Em said it by himself, that the first songs that he started wright for Relapse were these with the accent (My Mom, Must Be The Ganja etc.) Yeah My Darling maight be made in 2008 but deffenetly is not for Relapse!!!

LOL at comments about My Darling NOT being perfect for Relapse

:facepalm

After the intro, it would have 100% gone perfect. We're not talking about style, flow, or voices or whatever, we're talking about content and story. My Darling fits 10000000% on Relapse, it would have added so much more to the story and it would make more sense for the beginning. Dr. West turns on Em, then he wakes up, and at the beginning of My Darling he yawns. He would have rapped normal like he did, but by the end of the song Slim Shady takes over, as you can hear from the song itself, and then 3 AM would open up and he'd be killing everyone, then the story continues

Stat explained in detail how that sickness, along with a slew of other offensive occurrences, led to his decision to leave his label home for the past five years on “Dear Summer Pt. 2” [click to listen]. In that breakdown Stat referenced an unreleased Eminem production entitled “Dance On It” saying, “What a song, Em, 50 and Dre, Stat Quo, Cashis, also featuring Jay…Z.” However, Stat clarified to DX that the Eminem and Jay-Z collaboration was in fact not “Dance On It,” but another song, one that may make its way to the buying public very soon.

“The song that featured Jay-Z is a song that Em’s putting on his album called ‘My Syllielable” – it’s like ‘my syllable,’ [only] he flipped it,” said Stat. “They probably have since taken Stat Quo off of that record now that I’m not affiliated with the label.”

So Syllables was for King Mathers. I know we knew that but i don´t know if someone posted this article before.
