Obie Trice: Eminem's Album Is Done
December,2007
http://www.mixpod.com/playlist/7073790Radio - So what's that I wanna hear, the new album, What's the
deal in 08, whata we lookin for?
Obie - Well, Marshall, Chi?, Trying to put out his album, you
know, his album's done, his album is Incredible,
Tracks i think were 90% certainties for King Mathers are
CWYFW, Beautiful, My darling.
The album would have been poor lyrically but it would have been a dark fucked up album. This was his drug phase at its highest, It would have had some dark beats etc. No fucking around (Fack,My first single, big weenie etc type of shit). Just a dark depressed album, basing of those three tracks i may have enjoyed the album in terms of content. Of course we will never hear it now.

Everyone's opinion of 'Better Content' differs. Some people liked the direction Em went on Recovery, while other people thought it was boring. Some people thought Relapse (and occasionally, SSLP) was childish in content compared to that of Eminem Show & MMLP, while some people actually enjoyed it because of it's content. Some people don't like Eminem Show because they call it emo.
Just judging off No Apologies (Which fit the content of the other tracks, alot), Beautiful & Difficult, King Mathers would have been really boring to me. Emotion is fine, but the self-pity, whoa-is-me type song only works for me every so often, which is why I thought putting those two songs at the end of Relapse as the bonus tracks was really good because they felt like a breath of fresh air in an album full of demented serial killing while still fitting the overall tone.

If the leaked songs were an indication, King Mathers would have been one abysmal comeback for the king.
What??? My Darling meant for Relapse??? You're dumb or what??? It's deff from 2007/2008. Look at his lyrics, his voice, his flow. Everythink shows it's for King Mathers!!!
Why the offense, huh?His flow, voice, lyrics, concept fit perfectly with Relapse (Underground being the clearest example)
Check the lyrics:
"Yo, Slim?
How? Why now?
What up Dre?
Check this out, Slim, I gotta talk to you
I dunno
It just seems like ever since you got off your drugs"
You were just proved wrong.

Stat explained in detail how that sickness, along with a slew of other offensive occurrences, led to his decision to leave his label home for the past five years on “Dear Summer Pt. 2” [click to listen]. In that breakdown Stat referenced an unreleased Eminem production entitled “Dance On It” saying, “What a song, Em, 50 and Dre, Stat Quo, Cashis, also featuring Jay…Z.” However, Stat clarified to DX that the Eminem and Jay-Z collaboration was in fact not “Dance On It,” but another song, one that may make its way to the buying public very soon.
“The song that featured Jay-Z is a song that Em’s putting on his album called ‘My Syllielable” – it’s like ‘my syllable,’ [only] he flipped it,” said Stat. “They probably have since taken Stat Quo off of that record now that I’m not affiliated with the label.”
