No I don't think we've heard the best at all.

He put a handful of songs on a re-release for the sake of Interscope's greed. It was an opportunity to please their pockets, whilst at the same time giving us SOME of the intended music for Relapse 2.

But he had to compromise range for the sake of doing that, as he always does on every album anyway. I don't think any Eminem album has the collection of best shit possible, flat out, that he recorded. Because he structures albums to have a range / balance, he doesn't just give you 15 of his most lyrical, mind-blowing tracks... he gives you; an emotional track, a lyrical track etc.

So that's what you got with Refill, a range, examine the track content...

- Buffalo Bill: descriptive murder track, tricky flow / lyricism.
- Drop the Bomb on 'Em: punchline / lyrical track.
- Elevator: sarcastic, personal track with palatable hook.
- Music Box: murder track, with slower, harder flow / rhymes.
- Hell Breaks Loose: Dr. Dre collab / buddy / club track.

So when you look at it, you really just got what was probably the best range he felt he could provide with a handful of new tracks. And not necessarily the "best" from a fans perspective. I'm sure there are hundreds of MIND BLOWING tracks that we will never hear from those sessions. And the fact he scrapped them at our expense for the sake of whiny fuckers who want bitching and personal remorse annoys the shit out of me.

It's also selfish of him, to listen only to the people who dislike what he's doing. So what, the rest of us who actually like the Relapse vibe / material just... don't matter as much, don't fucking exist at all? Bullshit, showbiz bias.

i would like to hear all that shit from the relapse sessions too, i remember seing somethin a while back about him recording 3 albums worth of material before recovery was even mentioned.

but i dono, im sure some of these supposed tracks everyone is talkin about is from the touchdown era.
like... those songs that leaked with stat quo like a year ago were recorded way before it finally leaked, and imo those verses were sub-par. i really dont care for tracks like that. but dont get me wrong, they are still on my walkman i just rarely listen to them. and i would appreciate more tracks.

and off topic
some of yall sware that im just some troll on here but i really do have an opinion on the shit that goes on. i come here to read whats goin on, i even like to present it to you if i have the opportunity. cuz there would be more about eminem on here than on boxden. and if there is somethin on boxden first that aint on here then ill bring it to the table. and i dont talk shit about everyone on here yall got it twisted. i just say those faggots but yall gotta stop actin like im talkin to you directly. cuz im not. i just get on the ones that wanna talk shit so whatever, i aint gunna just sit there and let the fuckin... board warriors put me on blast for no reason. so... its whatever. you talk shit ill say something back. dont start no shit it wont be no shit. just let me make my faces at some of the shit yall say.

peace.

my bad about the off topic

Some of the recovery tracks were meant to be on Relapse 2? As I saw Kobe saying the track with him Eminem was done a while ago.

Yeah that would be nice.

Still preferring when Em's "fucked in the head" rather than "Not Afraid"

If he had anything like/similar to Music Box at all I'd wanna hear it, that song is fucking brilliant
My mother started screamin, "What are you on, drugs?!?
Look at you, you're gettin blood all over my rug!" (Sorry!)
She beat me over the head with the remote control
opened a hole, and my whole brain fell out of my skull
I picked it up and screamed, "Look bitch, what have you done?!?"
"Oh my God, I'm sorry son"
"Shut up you cunt!" I said, "Fuck it!"

Agreed with the range part but i'm one of those "whiny fuckers" who DONT like Relapse. Eminem got millions of fans all over the world (24 mill according to Facebook ;) ) and none is IMO more important than others. We dont wanna hear about his mom and Christopher Reeves AGAIN, we hate (for whatever reason) serial Killer tracks (Stay Wide awake), We hate the accents (Bagpies from Baghdad), we couldnt care less too for him making "funny" tracks like We Made You. We want a new direction.

People like me (which is a significant proportion of his fans) did not dictate which path he took. We said he should switch it up. Forever was good, Living Proof is fantastic, No Love is mindblowing and Seduction is just the opposite of "bitching and personal remorse" . Even on the "funny" side W.T.P is more like it. LTWYL aint even about that too yet its the biggest track on the album!!

I read somewhere that Em had 100+ songs for the Relapse project (same with Recovery, don't know how many were the same) so there are over 70 we haven't heard :8)

A lot of people did that. When I said that Relapse is lyrical wonder, people said I`m crazy. And a lot of them now say I was right.

yea i read he recorded at least 3 albums worth of tracks before they even changed the name of the cd to recovery.

if he got access to all that shit, i dont see why he wouldnt want it. if i was as rich as everyone says this kid is ida been bought the shit. even if some of it is mediocre to some.
but... i want to hear insult to injury. that track was talked about for a while and im interested in seeing what the hype WAS ONCE about. and someone else mentioned that everyones looking at me track that plays in the background of the kiss skit on tes... id like to hear that exact track in the background... fuck funk flex.

and i never hated on relapse either... but... recovery>relapse imo. id just rather listen to recovery.
but, dont get it twisted, ill bump relapse, and ill bump the refill i made... ima upload my refill one of these days for anyone who wanna partake in it... its got all the tracks that came out after relapse and before recovery... everything up to despicable is on it. except for them old ass stat quo tracks.

but on another note... wheres this kid at? i thought i was gunna wake up to another track after that incident on the internet yesterday... and id rather hear cocaine in my opinion, i dont want to pry by hearing difficult. its disrespect.

I don't see why he can't release Relapse 2 as a mixtape. Only the fans would hear about it and download, so he wouldn't really need to worry about the media criticizing it. Then again, maybe it is that bad...

^If Koolo coul cause this much hype with ONE unfinished verse of Eminem imitating Dre.... imagine an official mixtape! Even the Warning and Despicable got alot of attention. But after his death.... Tupac style... that be good. :sweating:
