I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?

Well done to Eminem on becoming the first artist in Soundscan history to have 2 year end #1 albums. Whats even more impressive is that its more than a decade after his career started. Most megastars don't have a career as powerful as this.

Heres a list of Eminems previous Year-End #1 with The Eminem Show:

2002 Year-End Sales:

Rank - Sales - TITLE - Artist
01 - 7,608,000 - THE EMINEM SHOW - Eminem
02 - 4,916,000 - NELLYVILLE - Nelly
03 - 4,121,000 - LET GO - Avril Lavigne
04 - 3,690,000 - HOME - Dixie Chicks
05 - 3,498,000 - 8 MILE - Soundtrack
06 - 3,145,000 - M!SSUNDAZTOOD - Pink
07 - 3,099,000 - ASHANTI - Ashanti
08 - 3,055,000 - DRIVE - Alan Jackson
09 - 2,909,000 - UP! - Shania Twain
10 - 2,736,000 - O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU? - Soundtrack

Mediatraffic Year End Chart 2010 (Albums):

#1 The Fame (Monster) - 5.858.000
#2 Recovery - 5.831.000

But that's just Mediatraffic. In Musicharts and IFPI (official) Recovery is gonna get the first spot.

ok can someone tell me if these numbers for lady gaga includes only The Fame Monster or it includes the main album The Fame too? And if this number is only 2010 sales or the total number till now? becoz the fame monster was released november 2009.... ??? thanks a lot

I'm not very good with English, so excuse me if I can't explain things better.

Outside of USA, The Fame and The Fame Monster are sell as a pack (since November u can buy TFM alone, too), so Mediatraffic numbers includes both except for the US, I think. And the run chart is from December 27, 2009 to December 26, 2010.

BTW, in Mediatraffic forums are some users doubting TFM numbers. It seems like Freddie, the Site Admin, is a declared Gaga fan...
Sorry for my english.

Awards: 9 AMA's, 11 BMA's, 4 BA's, 12 VMA's, 11 EMA's, 11 Grammys, 7 PCA's, 5 WMA's, 1 Acad. Award... oh, fuk it. World Wide Awards = 186
