Not deserving of the spot in hip hop they have right now

I know you're probably joking, but I'll still say this. Eminem has definitely made a bigger impact than Young Money, Young Money hasn't done shit for the rap game. Really, they haven't

I know, i just wondered why say nas got a named mention? I mean, he's soooo talented, don't get me wrong, but he had illmatic, then his impact went under the surface, it didn't last. On the other hand, there's guys more deserving of a named mention.
My Top 5 (in no order)-

Eminem
Big l
Biggie Smalls
Royce Da 5'9"
Jigga

Because Illmatic is historically very very important for the Hip-Hop music.Nas's impact is 70-80% Illmatic. This album is so great.Go to the Hip-Hop domain to see the new thread and the accolades of Illmatic

Dude.. I don't need a thread on an Eminem forum to tell me how good a Nas album was, i'm a huge hip hop fan away from the keyboard. I just mean that if we're talking impact, surely pioneering a new level of hip hop in your coast, or influencing most rappers in the 90's-now is more of an impact than having a classic album.

Again you can say anything you want. That's why I put someone else in the poll.Impact is about everything. And albums is part-parameter of an impact.

Not having a go, just confused me with some of the choices, not that they didn't impact, but that it was thought they had enough of an impact to have their own voting thing. No hate.

Exactly, Em blow out olny ten years ago, you can't expect a bunch of rappers star talking how they're so influnce by him. Exepte these rappers are 20-22 years old, then they maight talking about a big influnce in thier childhood!!!

I think that Eminem left a great mark in hip hop history, maybe the greatest. I heard so many people say that they don`t like rap, but Eminem is great. He made people appreciate rap like no rapper has done before. And not just by being white. But with his pure awesomeness.

Do you guys even know the influence illmatic had on the rap game? Saying nas doesn't deserve a spot is just retarded and I think some of you are confusing influence with impact. Eminem had a huge impact on the rap game, but he didn't bring anything new to he table(influential rappers would be Rakim, G rap, Slick Rick) and I doubt any rapper wants to emulate Em other than Asher Roth type rappers..

Oh and if it counts for anything IWW was the album that inspired lupe fiasco to get into rap

I'm a big fan of Mr. West, my point is - even the best right now, even people you think are extreme or big in recent times, aren't a fucking scratch on Eminem

I agree but Eminem also made people begin to listening and other MC's,to explore Hip-hop.Some Hip-Hop people can't accept that he is the Greatest or that he has the bigger impact and I believe that's because of his color.Like KRS-One last year after the result of Vibe's when he voted the Greatest ever over Tupac.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjakTqnqNGc

KRS-One is one of the Greatest. He is a legend. But he never did what Eminem did 1999-2003.Not even close.Eminem was/is bigger than hip-hop.

P.S Eminem's competition is Nas,Jay-Z,Tupac,Biggie,Rakim.Names like Kanye or Wayne aren't even close to Eminem,Nas,Jigga,Pac,Biggie........
I say this because I read in some posts Kanye's name. Not even close. If someone believe that Kanye is close to Eminem as an artist then he doesn't know who was Eminem at his prime. Before 7-8 years Eminem=Music.
