Artists are liked for being interactive with their fans or not. Em is already liked, he doesn't need to interact to gain acceptance and new fans. I think that idea is what makes this something he shouldn't do.

Plus, I honestly like not knowing what's going on sometimes, allows for news to be better when it is released. If every song he recorded for recovery was tweeted when it was done "just finished cold wind blows, gunna be the opener to Recovery!" we would eventually care less about what he has to say because the majority of his communication is small news, not big news worth hearing. It goes with that whole concept of "too much of a good thing can be bad" or however that saying actually goes

If I were A celebrity I would never use the internet either, yeah it might be cool to interact with fans but you would also have to take the negativity online with it, and I have a zero tolerance policy for that shit, so it would drive me crazy
