I preferred Recovery, Of course production wise MBDTF shits all over Recovery but there are 7 tracks from Recovery that i still bump whereas from MBDTF i only have two. I think Kanye went a little over the top in trying to be ahead of his time. Just that is the feeling i received listening to the album.

After hearing 4-5 songs from kanye's album, and not getting through one...while I still bump recovery in my car daily or when I lift, pretty much makes my choice obvious. Kanye's shit isn't even rap, they aren't comparable as artists at all imo

This, this, and a million times this. I realize I'm in the minority here, though. I just find Kanye's latest so much more listenable and interesting. The production and artistry really puts it over the top. Recovery is not a bad album, but it just doesn't have that.

Both are great albums. But I do prefer the substance>production.

Now an Eminem album mainly produced by Kanye West (provided good chemistry) would equal one of the greatest of all time if we go by both of their strengths and their most recent work.

On a side note- I hope Em goes back to producing some of his own tracks along with the Bass Brothers.

Kaney's album maight have better beats, but Recovery is 100 times better to me. If Recovery was produced by Em , MBDTF will suck dicks if you compairin it with Recovery. Btw for me, Kaney is the most overrated dude ever, i listen a lot of his songs and i still can't get whay y'all like so much at him. I mean yeah he maight produced good beats, but that's all!!!!
