Kaney's album maight have better beats, but Recovery is 100 times better to me. If Recovery was produced by Em , MBDTF will suck dicks if you compairin it with Recovery. Btw for me, Kaney is the most overrated dude ever, i listen a lot of his songs and i still can't get whay y'all like so much at him. I mean yeah he maight produced good beats, but that's all!!!! MBDTF is really special when it comes to production and because of that has more replay value..obviously can't fuck with Recovery lyrically and not only because Recovery is so good lyrically, it probably can't fuck even with some other albums on that point..i must say overall MBDTF is overrated, i mean pitchfork gave it 10/10 and Recovery 2.8..wtf ? some people say that recovery is pop, then wtf is MBDTF ?

The way I judge albums is: 90 % lyrics, 10 % music so it is Recovery any day of the week for me. I'm a hip hop fan so I honestly couldn't care less about beats if you're not saying anything of any real importance or relevance.

There's a few good tracks on MBDTF (lyrically): Gorgeous, Power, So Appalled (mostly because of Jay-Z) and maybe Blame Game. I know it isn't meant to be a pure hip hop album but lyrics are still important.

I can see why other people prefer MBDTF though. At the end of the end it is like comparing apples to oranges.

Im really a fan of Kanye, i like some of his stuff, but this shit is just getting pathetic, whats up with all this kanye dickriding, I just can't understand what's so amazing about him, yes hes one of the best hip hop producers, but hes nothin special as a rapper.

Both great albums. But if I were to look at how many plays each album I have made, Recovery wins. Whether that's cuz Em is my favourite artist or not I dunno, maybe. But at the end of the day if I've played it more then surely that means I've gotten more out of it/enjoyed it more than I did MBDTF. I stopped listening to Recovery for a few months but lately I've been listening to it again and it's made me appreciate it all over again. At the moment I'm barely playing MBDTF but who knows maybe in a couple months I'll start spinning it once more. I still think it might be too early for me to decide just how good each album is.
