rihanna sells alot in rest of the world (WW minus US)
she approx. triples her sale in rest of the world as compared to US (15 million in rest of the world and only 5.5 in US)

people like eminem sell approx. the same amount.........like in case of recovery

there is no certification for world wide sales....

Each country has it's own certifications mostly depending on it's number of citizens and how well the music industry sells in it. For example in the US Gold is 500 000+, platinum is 1 000 000+, 2x platinum is 2 000 000 etc....

it has sold 3 000 000 + in the US and it's eligible for 3x platinum certification, but Interscope are cheap bastards who won't certify eminem's albums.

Worldwide it has sold over 6 million copies but it's not 6x platinum as there are no certifications for worldwide sales

There is, 1x platinum is 2m copies sold. So Recovery is about to go 3x platinum worldwide.
