When you first heard Infinite

Postby Wreck » Jan 6th, '11, 19:29

what did you think? compare it to the other Em album(s) you heard before you heard Infinite.

I listened to it like in 2002-2003 I think. I remember tracks circulating under the Eminem search on Limewire/Bearshare, Napster programs back then with Infinite track names next to it. I listened, liked them, never hated them, and I think they are really nice songs, but I hardly ever bump the Infinite songs. And the beats obviously are too simple, but thb what do you expect from back then from poor Denaun.

I was surprised that it was produced as well as it was. I think it's a decent cd, but I really don't like it much, if that makes any sense at all. I appreciate the skill in his rhymes, but it's just not something I want to listen to.

The only song I really enjoy listening to a lot is Infinite. I listen to Searching every once in a while.

Yeah I'm the same way with this tape. But the lyrics and flow on it are amazing. I think it's just cause it was bland, it had no emotion really, and mostly because people that love Eminem (everybody on here) likes the Eminem that curses 365 times a song, that has grit, balls, says crazy shit, not the Eminem on that cd who just rhymes and doesn't have an ego attached to the rhymes on the CD.

Well, I remember it like it was yesterday. I was 6 years old and Infinite had just dropped and I was like "GOD DAMN! The wordplay and the multies are just plain ridiculous. This cat got some mad skills. He's gonna blow up and sell a milli".

Now it's just "meeeeh".

When I first heard Infinite I came.
To me, it's a pretty decent debut album. Sure, it isn't Illmatic or 36 Chambers, but I still enjoy listening to it.
I ordered the songs from my most liked, to the least liked.
Backstabber
Infinite
Jealousy Woes II
It's OK
Searchin'
Open MIC
313
Tonite
Never 2 Far
Maxine

:coffee:

I like Maxine, too, but not as much as the others. It kinda bores me, I don't know why.

And the last line was from the chorus of 'Open MIC'. I guess having it on repeat on my PC and mp4 player got me crazy over it.

Who the fuck listen to Infinite? :facepalm
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
