.) Sentus & DerdyPK are beautiful. You lose. Although a good portion do look like pedos.
.) I don't know why this would keep them from becoming mainstream lol. Eminem was supposedly great at English before he dropped out. Besides, alot of the underground rappers I know of are either in college and treat rapping as a hobby/a little extra money (which, is why they're underground), or just dropped out at a young age.
.) This is true. Alot of them don't because all of them pursue the same subject matter and strive to excel in the same aspect.
.) For the most part, they say 'Fuck The Radio', which I fully support. Turn it on and you'll see what I mean.
.) I agree partially in the sense that alot of rappers who say 'fuck the mainstream' would take the chance if they were offered it, but you're implying that you can only find catchy beats in the mainstream.
Most of the mainstream beats outside of Kanye, B.o.B., Jay & Wiz's are generic or just plain weak as fuck. It's the professional recording, mixing and mastering along with the fit-for-the-radio voice of the rapper that makes it seem like beats are better in the mainstream. Production-wise, mainstream & underground have both been really lacking lately and there are alot of underground acts (Eyedea, Immortal Technique, Blue Scholars, apparently Chino XL etc.) that have been offered deals and turned them down. 6.) Lol? This is when it becomes clear you're not talking about the underground in general, but rappers that you actually know or have spoken to.
