I'm not even going to argue whether they were the best three consecutive albums in Hip Hop (don't think they are, but that's for another day), but just admit that he isn't the only one in Hip Hop to do it, far from it. You don't even need to bring in other genres.

No need to apologize.
2pac isn't even close to Beatles or to MJ.Don't even compare them.John Lennon and especially Michael Jackson were in another level. Eminem is the bigger icon Hip-Hop has ever had.2pac was big in US.Worldwide Eminem is bigger and it's not even close.
I have lived in Italy for some years and people there didn't even know who was 2pac or Biggie. But everybody knew Eminem.

I'll beat him to it :smoking: even though I don't listen to Wayne I did some research and figured that Carter 1-3 were a good run. Surprisingly, all albums were universally accepted. So I'd say that's a good run for someone. Other than that, jay-z, tech n9ne, and some others had excellent 3 albums runs.

Of course em collectively tops them all. Haha

Who the fuck thinks Carter 2 is a classic and what does that have to do with TES? It's not even a personal classic, it's just decent and good for Wayne, but that's it.

This is funny because when I went on that Lil Wayne form to see how Em was doing in the Em vs Wayne poll there was another post saying the 3 Carters were the best 3 album run ever.

Carter 1=
Carter 2= :'(
Carter 3= :facepalm

People are very afraid to admit Em has the best run. Fuck that.

Em has had arguably the best run. Along with Pac, Kanye & Jay-Z.

Jay z had a great run, but he didn't have three consecutive classics. He had three classics, and some decent enough albums in between but not in a row anyway. Reasonable Doubt, BLueprint, The Black Album.

Is Kanye Graduation, Late Registration and 808's & Heartbreaks?

More like College Dropout-Graduation. His new album's dope as well, despite it getting hyped as hell.

To me, the trio...Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime, & Hard Knock Life, in order, are a classic (RD) and two very near classics.

If it was RD, Blueprint, & The Black Album in a row then I'd probably have an even harder time giving Eminem the title. I'd say that I (slightly) enjoyed the Em albums more but the Jay-Z albums are the (slightly) better albums.
