I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.

Just Blaze had some unreleased tracks of Em on one of his hard drives, and the hard drive is now corrupted or whatever. In other words, if he can't fix it then the songs are probably lost for good.

They can always recover data from hard drives unless the drive is literally burnt to a crisp or smashed multiple times with a hammer.

And isn't it pretty dumb of them to have those songs on only one computer?
