Instead of constantly try to put someone on top as the best ever, people should just enjoy the diversity of the genre and appreciate that everyone is good at something different.

How can you possibly compare The Beastie Boys to Wu-Tang, Eminem to KRS-one, Scarface to Common etc.?

Just take a look at Lilwayne4life if you wanna know what goat talks do to people.

Obviously which is why I said in your opinion, I have no problem with him thinking Eminem is the goat, but I'll be damned if I'll let him say retarded shit about other rappers just to up Eminem.

And to the guy who was talking about Nas, Nas is good but he doesn't have the VERSATILITY that Em has, and more influential? That's funny, MANY rappers cite Eminem as an influence,

Nas influenced way more rappers than Eminem it's not even funny, Lupe Fiasco, Jay z, Biggie, Eminem, I mean seriously do you even know the INFLUENCE (not impact) illmatic had on the game?
Eminem brought in tons of NEW hip hop fans (myself included, Em got me into rap), Eminem is the best selling artist of the whole DECADE (I know sales have nothing to do with skills,

That's impact not influence, when people try to emulate Eminem, than we'll talk (cough Infinite cough)

but he's had longevity obviously, BECAUSE of his skills as a rapper and to make good, enjoyable music). MMLP, the fastest selling rap album of all time.

Pretty sure Outkast's"Speakerboxxx/The Love Below." outsold and it came out three years after MMLP.
Back during the MMLP days EVERYONE wanted to be Slim Shady, EVERYONE died their hair blond like Eminem

You mean white boys not rappers
Em doesn't have influence? I'm sorry, but if you deny Em that, you're clearly a fucking troll

I didn't say that at all I'm saying Nas has more influence than him, he has more impact as in making rap more mainstream, but how many rappers tried to emulate the success of album? Did he raise the game lyrically? Was it it a protype for any albus that came out for him?

Quote 1: Eminem is versatile he has a tone of diffrent types of deliverys and all of them make u wanna listen more, whereas others such as the Wu-Tang Clan sound the same on every song, just spittin dope lyrics on a beat with no feeling to the song.

Ghostface has no feeling? Listen to Impossible, and Gihad and tell me he has no feeling.
Quote 2: Blanket statements? Who has had a bigger impact than 2pac other than Eminem MAYBE??? and you don't think sometimes he tends to bore you, cause he sound the same all the time?

Yeah cause hit em up and dear Mama totally sound the same.

Quote 3: Like I said Biggie has GOLDEN Delivery, and Em matches it yet the diffrence is, that Em also is great on other parts of the game then storytelling and delivery not just that which puts him above biggie

Let me guess multies? Yawn

And Biggie had much more influence on rap and quotables

Quote 4: No, I said Eminem and Nas are good in every aspect in the game, so the only tie-braker here is the Cultural Impact, BUT, pac had a bigger influence but he is nowhere near Em on other aspects of the game.

Like what multies?
ok Rewind was an amazing song, so was Stan, Kim/Bonnie and Clyde whom are unique and clever too, and certainly bigger than that of Nas.

Project Roach, Fetus, 2nd Childhood, N.Y. state of mind, I gave you power, I mean I can go on how much Nas takes Eminem in creativity.
Illmatic was a big influence on the game, but is Nas worshipped by Millions of people around the globe

Yes
and eating the music industry up?? I don't think so.

So are you implying sales equals better artist or something, cause I don't follow.
Plus SSLP > Illmatic.

GTFO, maybe MMLP is near or at most equal but no that's just blasphemous.

And wait, u really mentioned that Em copied Nas and AZ on INFINITE??

Not biting, but he was definitely highly influenced and copied their flow.
to get back at you, when he stopped copying them, he became better (SSLP, MMLP, TES)

Obviously

Quote 5: that's debatable... I don't think any is close

If you mean CONCEPT wise than yes they are better ( I mean have you even heard of the albums, you don't even have to listen to them seriously wiki them and you'll slap yourself for saying SSLP is better concept wise than the albums I named) , they are CONCEPT albums after all. And non concept albums that are on the same plateau are R2D and The Cool.

Quote 7: Stan is not so far off Rewind, and maybe even better to some, but the rest of the album.... MMLP songs are by far better, Kim (another creative one), Drug Ballad, Amityville, I'm Back(perfect), Marshall Mathers(perfect), The Way I Am, TRSS etc..

I don't disagree though I don't think stillmatic is the classic people herald it up to be, and MMLP is Eminem's best album so yeah I guess.

Quote 10: Would u like rap to be just underground, and actually fade away as a huge genre in the music industry??

Not what I mean, but he made it more commercial and with some of the crap that's been on mainstream since Eminem, not to mention it helped paved the way for idiots stereotyping rap as a bad genre

Quote 16: Relapse wasn't trash... at all...

It was a step up from Encore, but it was average at best I guess. Around the same level as Kanye's album.

Quote 17: why?

You really can't tell why BREAST NIPPLES/FLESH TICKLES/MY TESTICLES is corny?
Quote 19: why should he quit? he loves rap, and after dominating it, he's
tryin new styles now... without rap he'd be back on drugs now...(Don't ask me what he'll do when he has to quit rap and has white hair, cause i dunno how he will cope, especially with the chance of his daughters moving out the house and getting married, damn em needs a girlfriend)

I don't mean rap I mean the corny concepts, I loved TES type songs.

Quote 20: They do?? he admits it alot, but never heard people sayin it

Yep
Quote 21: I said in the mainstream world. Not too many real rappers in the mainstream world now apart from Em, Jigga, Nas etc.. the rest are shit such as Gucci Mane, Drake, Wacka Flocka, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Souljaboy

Kanye, Common, Lupe Fiasco, J cole, Ghostface? Mainstream is a lot bigger than you think.

Quote 23: yes, but I'm just sayin they shouldn't judge a person by his unreleased material... cause they were unreleased cause he knew they don't deserve to be released... and did better than them and released those instead..

I'm not denything that just saying people don't just do this to Em.

Quote 24: the thing he has over other rappers is not just impact and sales, is being good on all sides of the game, while others (excluding nas) are good on one point of the game, eg: Crooked I is the king of multies and punchlines

Jay z is a one dimension rapper, Andre is a one dimension rapper, Ghostface etc? are one dimension rappers?

Quote 25: I did not make it hard to read on purpose...that's how conspiracy theories start lol.. Anyway, yeah it's my opinion and I'm not shovin it up anyone's throats, feel free to disagree

I know, just wanted to clarify any ambiguities

It's okay, I'm just not getting into it. I said what I was gonna say

I love debating too, but I saw what happened to that thread in the Hip Hop Domain between you and the two members I mentioned. That shit was a fight, not harmless debating. I'm not letting the Eminem section suffer the same fate

Please excuse me, surely you understand :coffee:
