Eminem learned about beat making way back in the days before he blew up, then got better at it when he met Dre. He's definitely one of the best producers around way better than the ones he let produce Recovery.

He also has one of those production talents that make his beats some of my favorite to listen to. For the most part he uses live instrumentation versus plugins and digital emulators. So that guitar is really a live guitar. It brings this weird life into the song that a vst couldn't. But we also have to give a big thumbs up to Luis Resto cuz he actually lays down most of the instrument parts for em after em has produced the basic scratch track. as Resto once said, "em has that style that's live: classical hip hop" :worship:

And yes, I'm a BIG Em production fan :coffee:
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Definitely one of my favorite producers, MAD MAD MAD underrated. His music actually sounds real, like he puts actual thought in his beats. His production is also usually heavily influenced by rock music, and I like that too. TES is production heaven :worship: :worship: :worship: every beat is a classic on that album

Em is a fuckin awesome producer... He's often criticized for being repetitive, but it sounds good to me.... I think Recovery definitly could have done 4-5 Em produced tracks

Even if you were just average on the outside (but not fat) I could like you if you sounded smart.

No, it's not opinion, it ingorance.
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with Ems beats, i like a lot of them very much. But in no way is Em close to being the best hiphop producer.

He can't touch Pete Rock, Dj Prmeier, Dr. Dre, Madlib, Large Proffessor, J Dilla, Kanye West, RZA, Marley Marl, Hi Tek and a lot of other producers out there.

Not trying to be a dick, but claiming Em is even worthy of being mentioned as one of the best producers is absurde and as wrong as could be.
