Thanks guys, and yes, the tags, they bug me just as much as they bug you! Oh well, I think it's worth it in the long-run, it doesn't ruin the song for me so I hope it didn't ruin it for anyone else, haha!

keeping it real...and i know you can respect it, cuz we both i guess having the same problem going on currently..
but i just listened to this and "like a g6" and your style is exactly the same. You need to try something different. You kind of doing what eminem's doing. All his songs have this mad sounding delivery, and it sounds kind of the same. Your lyrics were pretty solid. wasn't feeling the chorus much to be 100%. I think when you just dropping singles you can get away with this more, but if you release a mixtape like this it'll become repetitive. Try doing something as simple as speeding up your flow ever so slightly. or try a different rhyme scheme. It's something i'm messing with right now.

clicked "like" on youtube lol... havent done that since 05 I think lmao

I kinda agree with chambers a bit, all your songs have the same style and same flow, you should play with it more man, cuz its gets kinda tireing. The hook is great man, I liked it a lot. the lyrics are good too, yeah, overall its a very good track, also good for radio play, cuz the hook is good to lure people in. nice one.

one thing tho'. watch out before you get sued lmao, lease the beat haha. better yet, get a custom made beat man. :y:

cheers :b:

I'm iffy about this one. I mean, the hook is good without a doubt. But like people have said the first verse lacks and that's pretty bad. First verse (to me anyways) is always crucial, it'll turn the listener on to the song or turn them off and it turned me off but I toughed through it and the second verse was better, but still not great.

Overall: 5/10 ... Hook saved it.
Emotions get the best of me, the thought of you stresses me
Love me and break me, that's the fuckin' recipe
So why do I miss you? I'm walking on these eggshells
Hoping for an answer and all I do is beg help

Okay it's taken me ages to feed this lol but i'm tryin to get around to it so here we go

Keeping in mind that it's a radio song

I like that you actually semi-went for a concept in the chorus, the "Medicine" thing
The little skit halfway through worked well too, a nice difference, especially since it didn't sound lazily done, like there's actually some effort put into it.
The beat i liked but i've heard it before so that's nothing new to me
Your delivery sounds kinda similiar to most of your other songs, although does sound a bit more lively than usual, the flow is great as always, you never had a problem with that.
The hook is pretty sick, goes with the beat well even though it doesn't particularly copy the melody
The hook definately stayed in my head
The lyrics are kind of similiar to the usual track you do, but since it's been done for the radio obviously it can't be some deep shit so i get that. You did it justice to be fair, at least it aint dumbed down much or anything, and i liked that at the end of the second verse you still kept with the medicine theme.

So yeah, as always another great track from you Steve, no dickridin or anything lol
It's always hard to feed you cause you pretty much have most of this shit figured
Only thing i can critique is that a lot of your tracks are kinda similiar, but that's something everyone suffers with to a degree to be honest and i know you can come with new ideas from hearing tapes of yours and shit.

Good track! Along This Road is still my all-time fave though :shifty:
