Any one else think recovery was missing that one song

Postby xnoxiousx » Jan 13th, '11, 21:38

Imo it was just missing the one song that pretty much invites you into the album with silly humour.

Before you say this album was meant to have serious tune well so did eminem show but it still had that one song without me.

Every other album he has come out with has this type song

SSLP- My name is
MMLP- Real slim shady
Eminem show- Without me
Encore- Just lose it
Relapse- We Made You
Recovery- ??????

This, coming from a guy who hates Recovery and views it as his worst album, doesn't mean to much to tell you the truth...I mean, we all know that you don't like it, and it seems you keep picking on small things like this

But, for the record, Cold Wind Blows is funny, and invites you into the album, seeing as it's the opening track :smoking:

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

Just Lose It was awful and We Made You was weak, it was time to move on from the funny lead singles. Not Afraid promoted the album and the theme of the album much better than a funny single could've. Haters gon hate...

Yep

I hate NA, but that's beside the point. Concept-wise, it was the obvious first single choice.

IMO WMY was good
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.
