Lupe Fiasco=Genius

As far as lyrics go Lupe runs lyrical circles around Eminem, Nas and Kanye. Out of all the rappers out making albums I think that he has the best chance to make a classic.

If there's any hip hop classic out of 2005 onwards, it's definitely Food & Liquor.

Running circles around Kanye lyrically isn't impressive, but Nas in his prime is debatable. That said Lupe deserves his props and his great lyrically. He already has two classics anyway, hopefully Lasers lives up to the hype.

There's no doubt that Food & Liquor is a classic, but anything after that didn't live up. To be honest, he's severely overrated. He's obviously capable of making amazing music; Doesn't mean he always does. I can't stand 90% of his music, really.
