classthe_king wrote:What points are you even trying to make? You people like 50 Cent because he has "good beats" and "catchy hooks" and a "cool voice". But then you diss on every other mainstream rapper out there because of the same thing because they don't have good lyrics but guess what, neither does 50. Everyone likes him because of the Eminem connection.

Quote a post of mine where I stated I like 50 because of his "cool voice", "good beats" & "catchy hooks". If you find one I will logout and continue with my night.

Why do you like 50 Cent then? Is it his great punchlines, his amazing story telling, his deep metaphors or his crazy multis?

His lyrical content, intensity, emotion, delivery (goes with intensity but it includes his melodic rapping). And I'll admit it, his hooks really appeal to me. 50 Cent is no Tech N9ne, Copywrite, Royce, Eminem etc... but I like different rappers for different reasons.

P.S. I don't like Curtis so don't play that card.

If Wayne is scared to respond to "average" 50 around 2007/2008 when he was bored with rap and just fucking around, you think Wayne would smash him in their prime? Lol.

He's takng the Jay z route of not giving attention to those that want it.

Wayne on his best days didn't respond to 50 on his worst days. Wayne would never have the balls to, and you know it.

Wayne was always more lyrical than 50, Drought 3, The Suffx, Dedication 2.

I'm not talking about dissing I just meant as in skill wise. And Wayne was hardly at his prime when 50 dissed him, he did respond though with a weak ass diss.

btw, straight lyrically, wayne is = tupac. tupac was nothing special. stop overrating him, it was his message. and the message was delivered on very few songs. most of the songs had no meaning.

i just love how most people on this site trying to diss new age rappers have no idea what old rappers were like...but i guess it's because they are like 18 and all..

but in the end of the day, i'm sorry you can't enjoy music like i do and always have

this song alone is about as lyrical as 50 has ever been. i'm not sure what these kids are trying to say...notice they have no argument besides "BUT I LIKE HIM BETTER"

Good response :y:

I like different rappers for different reasons too. It's not all about multis and word play for me, though that definitely is a big thing with me

LOL if it's a big part, how could you say 50>wayne. Wayne is way more lyrical than 50. Has a better flow and i think everyone can agree on this, one of the most charismatic styles/varying styles out of anyone in the game.

wanna know how? for the simple reason of how much music he puts out. he constantly sounds different. 50 has sounded nearly the same in the past 3 years on every track.

no 50 hater either, i fuck w/ some of his shit

Nicki vs. Kim seems to be the big thing these days. People have already long forgotten Nick Cannon lol

Lmao, yeah his lyrical content about how much money he has and how much of a gangster he is is great :worship: Everything you just posted is no different than anything else on the radio.

Face it, 50 Cent is an average mainstream radio rapper but people put him above the rest of them because of his affiliation with Eminem. It's not that hard to see.
