And what the fuck who cares? How is this a metaphor or anything deep other than using big words?

And even science then’ll be baffled by the chemistry

Even if you do the advanced technology/science of the future still won't be able to figure out how they are put together so well.

So is the wordplay supposed to be how "science" is surprised by his anatomy? What's so impressive about this.

The rapid rise in energies, analyzed forensically,

The way they make you react are studied

Again nothing but pure jargon where's the literary elemets? Metaphors, similes, anything/

To fathom why this natural high is trapped inside your memory

To understand why they get stuck in your head so much.

So is the diction supposed to be impressive?

Notice he kept up the science theme the whole time, he did that on PURPOSE. It was a metaphor that he has complex lyrics. Get it now :y:

And Prodigy kept up the darkness theme so I guess we're evn.

Thanks.

Let's pretend he did mean to makin seein clips also be see eclipse. What would be the purpose of that? Because it keeps up a theme of darkness? That's stupid.

Cause you say so?

Immortal Technique's use makes sense cause either way you look at it the line makes sense. And suppose he did mean Heavy Metal King as a metaphor or w/e.

Wordplay whatever nt sure what to file it under.
What would be the point in that? It's stupid, did you ever stop to think he just called himself the Heavy Metal King to mean it in the literal form.

Thought about that but most people probably think he's going off in a complete non sequiter by just namedropping heavy metal into the equation. He obviously meant gun but queezing that line in their still counts for something.

And turn men into mice isn't clever cause that's a common phrase that people use all the time. There was a book like that.

File under allusion than.

Yes because I say so lmao, if you have common sense you can seee that

I think that was the literal form. You even said metal means gun, if there's no other meaning for metal then it's just one meaning and not wordplay. That's like if I said I haven't seen him for a grip in a song and you said it was wordplay because grip means a long time and to hold something but the to hold something doesn't apply so its not wordplay.

And turn men into mice isn't clever cause that's a common phrase that people use all the time. There was a book like that.

Am I getting trolled by you? You can't be this stupid. Regardless I think it's fun to argue.

This conversation is about who has better substance and you bring a song into it that was from a completely different conversation and completely ignore the videos I posted for this conversation. You don't want to address those? I'll take that as you accepting defeat ;)

I already explained how that connects with his darkness theme you're just playing on semantics.

I think that was the literal form. You even said metal means gun,

obviously, Heavy metal king and his next few bars support on how he's holding a huge gun, but most people unfamiliar with rap ebonics would probably have thought he would just randomly dropped in heavy metal the genre for no reason.

if there's no other meaning for metal then it's just one meaning and not wordplay. That's like if I said I haven't seen him for a grip in a song and you said it was wordplay because grip means a long time and to hold something but the to hold something doesn't apply so its not wordplay.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.

If that makes you happy.

Hey you're the one that brought that up, andrappers do allusions all he time, Nas, Biggie etc.

Thanks

This conversation is about who has better substance

So we're going back into who makes music that touches yo more? That's completely subjectiive.

and you bring a song into it that was from a completely different conversation

Than you should have made it clear it was about substance not technicalites.

and completely ignore the videos I posted for this conversation. You don't want to address those? I'll take that as you accepting defeat ;)

Not enough facepalms can facepalm how dumb you are :facepalm

I said

classthe_king wrote:Underground rap does have better substance than 90's rap

you said

deadprez wrote:Nice blanket statement

then later you said

dead prez wrote:Do you know what burden of proof means idiot? You made the retarded statement now back it up.

Then I responded with

and

classthe_king wrote:Sorry, I didn't see that other post. On a quick unrelated note

Vinnie Paz- The heavy metal kings hold big shit, we cock the heaters

And what point are you proving with that? Why does that have any substance? He has a gun and he's killing people with it.

Forever and a Day is a beautiful song about how he got in a fight with his best friend who ended up dying, it's also a tribute to everyone else in his life who died.

"What if you and someone you grew up with had an awkward little beef
But he lost his will to breathe before you too could sit, talk and really sleep
Would it haunt you in your dreams or would it taunt you in your sleep?"

Razorblade Salvation is an amazing song just looking back at his life

"I thought a lot about everything i said in the letter
And questioned whether or not I was dead you'd be better
You think my shorty would be happy if I never met her?
It's too late mommy, I can never forget her"

Don't Feel Good is an incredible story telling song dedicated to those going through rough times

"And his story, I'm repping it now
Cause he's like me, we're both drunk and high as fuck, our heads in the clouds
So when death's callin you
Life's a bitch, but you ain't alone, I'm standin right here with all of you"

And Behind bars is just another great song about his life

"Wifey said think about how your mom would look at you
Now I'm apologizen to her for the shit I put through
Used to think there were some people I just couldn't lose
Burned a bridge, watched it turn to shit, rebuild good as new"

Those are heartfelt songs that actually mean something and anyone can relate too.

Also what HipHopHead said

Holy shit

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake
